That's what happens when there is no competition for places. Players just stroll about thinking they are safe having a spot in the starting 11. Defence is yet another area that needs sorted.

We were told that under McInnes we would be getting 110% from these players every game. Yet, some of these players are jogging around and not even giving it 100% on day one.

I'm sure they will be. One of the reasons I have confidence in DM, I can't see your Rohl's or Martins going through players for jogging back because it kept happening and they kept playing.

Absolutely correct, you cannot have players swanning about as if they own the place. Players should be bursting a gut, whatever position they play. Unfortunately I don't see that at the moment.

Sometimes he strolls it, other times he's all over the place. He needs to find consistency. Keep in mind he's only had one season at any kind of decent level. I think we'll get decent money for him at some point.

He has many positives but just as many negatives.
DM 100% needs to be hammering home that he needs to speed up while we have the ball, and stop being so rash when we don't, and, if he makes a mistake, he bursts a gut getting back.

The boy has talent, but he floats about with his head up his backside, and mistakes are always on the card. The boy just switches off, and his concentration levels are very poor.

Why would he be given more leeway? We were told he had an advantage on other managers because he's Scottish, a Rangers fan, knows the league, "he gest it", etc. So expectations should be even higher, not lower.
McInnes has the same mandate as every other manager - Go win the league. If he can't it's the sack.

His attitude has been terrible since the split EHL, the Hibs at home game, the Falkirk away game and then the games in pre season, he looks like he can't be bothered. I really liked him from Christmas onwards, but he seems to believe his own hype now.

I'm beginning to think Rohl was allowed to go because he was demanding to be backed in signing the players he wanted this summer. Now we are back to recruitment teams and panels deciding on players, and the manager just agreeing. This suits the owner who wants to talk about improvement but is not interested in financing the purchase of better players.
Poor new signings added to last year's flops like Diomande, Aasgaard, Gassama, Chermiti, all still featuring, will not improve us. We should also not ignore the problems caused this summer by signing Four on loan defenders last summer that now have to be replaced.
