Not a rumour just pointing out something to the haters.
That's Derek McInnes, the main man, the manager of the football club, and surely the person who knows most about the transfer dealings of the club, now come out three times in the last few weeks about inaccurate information with signings.
Obviously saying we were going to have two in, and then another within 48 hours.
Now was Derek telling porkies? No, the information he told us was correct at the time. It just goes to show you though things can change in football, and as he says the club can 'hit the post' with deals.
So those who criticise others when they're a bit wrong- have a look at yourselves 😂

What you on about, haters? No one hates anyone on here. All the alleged ITK people on here are very thin skinned and get their panties in a twist over things that aren't that deep.

No hate here, esp for McInnes, but plenty of criticism of the board for majorly letting him down so far. Beginning to feel like they think he'll just be happy to be managing Rangers, but without showing any kind of ambition to help him do the job successfully.

Do things not change all the time, and that is why rumours never come to fruition. What benefit is there to a manager to give a date for signings 2 days away if they aren't true. Wait a minute, that is what happens on here, isn't it. 😂😂😂

It's an interesting one, Lundstrum. McInnes is very open and honest at these conferences, but the more he says dates, the more his recruitment team look as if they're failing to meet his expectations.

8Gazza8, they had 8.5m set aside for Olsen from last year, made money on Danny Rohl, paid half of Pandur with Butland, plus whatever is normally set aside for transfer budget, so the money isn't the problem.
We're less than 3 days away from season starting with 5 defenders and no width in the team. How can u possibly say that's showing ambition or giving the manager the tools to do the best job he can?

Perhaps we are showing ambition by looking at players who will add quality to the team rather than buying anyone just to appease a fan base. So yes, it isn't ideal, but hardly the need for the panic on here.
I want a manager who does what he needs to with the tools he has. So, if McInnes or any manager is good, they will be able to still make us difficult to beat and get wins.
McInnes was a past master at that in his previous clubs, and the friendly against WH particularly showed how he had got us playing as a team. Yes, we lack flair and creativity, but that will come when clubs start selling that. I think those truly itk call it the domino effect when one moves, and it spurs a flurry of activity across clubs.

McInnes is good, but still unfair on him to just hope he can make the best out of what he has. He's been given a bag full of nice spanners and asked to drill holes.

Kaiser, he has had that at every club he has been at, so he is well used to it. He has obviously been working on how to make us difficult to beat, and that is a start. Let him make do with what he has, and we can get him his nice drills over the next few weeks when clubs have assessed their squads and decided who they can let go; also, the players they want will become available so the domino affect will fall nicely into place.
Well, my hope anyway. We do need numbers in a few places; did you know we only have 5 defenders. 😉
