I imagine there are many factors and cogs that need to fall into place.
Yes, it would have been ideal for everything to be in place before the first game of the season. Sadly, life doesn't work like that.

I appreciate some think that any target we have should be overjoyed at coming to us, but in reality it's a battle to get quality players because many big teams want them. The weather here is obvs a factor as is the lack of Champs League football. Keep the faith, the club know what we need and are working on it.

A lot can happen in the 5 weeks till end of window, but for me, we don't look stronger than last year, are still a bit disorganised, & in the next 2 weeks we have Dun United away, who have already started their season, 2 Euro ties, let's hope Derek doesn't have to look for a bush 😉😉 & then Hibs, who have been known to cause us trouble & I'm sure would love to stick one to DM.
Also in that time we will be looking to ship half a dozen players out the door.
