If this is true I'm optimistic about his prospects. He has a little bit of pace for a CB and would match well with Fernandez. He's also rumoured to be a bit physical and good at heading a ball clear.

I've never seen the boy play, so I don't have an opinion.
I do, however, feel 22yo from mos isn't why we need.
We need a 28-34 year old with experience of British football and European football.
A proven quality player.

Stevie, we don't have £30 million to spend on that kind of player. Godfrey is supposed to be that experience.

Godfrey has potential to be better than Goldson as I posted when we got him.
But he's also not played a lot of football for his age, and in the last 3 years.
We could pick one up on loan, mate, from EPL out of favour or whatever, we got Fabio Silva on loan, mate.
We could get one in with that profile. It may cost a lump sum, but with their new attack, we really need to have experience in that back line.
Davie Weir's an example of how age doesn't matter. He could even be 35-36 for a season.

A good few of us stated when we signed Godfrey, if he gets his mojo back, then we have a good centre half on our hands, as he's got the ability. 👍 Maybe being at Rangers will get him going and get him back to his best. 🙏 His ability has never been in question for me. 🤔 🇬🇧
