With so many CMs and seeing some praised and others criticised interested to see what order u would rank them? Raskin, Dio, Barron, Chucky, Neil, Devlin, Drago. Not sure if to include Aasgaard in thst position or not.

Right now Devlin is the first name on the team sheet for CM. I'm hoping Drago is a top player because I have been less than impressed with the rest so far. I'm not including Raskin as I think he will be away.

I'll be the first to hold my hands up and apologise to Cammy Devlin.
He has proved his quality and contribution to the team already in my eyes and I hope he pushes on further and further.
Aasgaard showing improvement as well, which is good.
Raskin will surely be away before the end of the window.
Diomande is mince, sure he makes some good interceptions, but he gives the ball away constantly and almost never makes the correct pass/decision.
Not seen enough of Dan Neil other than to say he seems comfortable on the ball, but his corners are rotten so far.
Chucky. Big strong player and will continue to improve, think he is still trying to settle in.
Barron is Barron.
No idea over Drago yet.

I tend not to judge or try and give an opinion on any player until I've seen him at least a dozen times. Judging players in friendlies is most definitely not. I've liked Devlin at Hearts for a few years cause he's an absolute pest and better on the ball than many think (he's not great, but he's better than bad). The rest thou, at this stage I've no clue! Godfrey looked good yesterday.
We'll know more come November/December about these new signings. 1 thing I'm certain of, after a month under DM we're more organised and will be much harder to beat. I think we'll bully teams in the SPFL more than we'll outplay them and I've no problem with that.

I only said I can see Devlin is better than I gave him credit for, a player I didn't like when not in Rangers colours, but hear you are judging players getting game fit, that is the only Devlin you'll see in bonce games or real games.
Bonkers and Coldo should be in the same sentence.

Sterling is a good player, he was getting posted about last week saying he wasn't good enough, seen Aasgaard's capabilities for a while, Coldo, did say Godfrey stolled it, wasn't hard to see, but you're saying players ain't good enough after watching them play a couple of friendlies, clearly you can't pick up what I'm saying.

That's clearly too much information for you, coldo, I like a player like him in our side, we've missed a player like him for so long, we'd never had a player like him challenging for every ball, or getting in other players faces, this is rather easy to pick up in any games, but you're saying players aren't good enough seeing them in a couple of friendlies.
You really are just bonkers, a person with thousands of usernames tells me that.

Devlin is what we have been needing for a while - many on here go straight for the negative view - he is free, he is an international, he was best midfielder in SPL last season, he has bite, dig, works hard, always giving a 100%, and you would hate the guy had he ended up with the other mob as he would have been good for them also - the days of Gattuso, Gazza etc are gone - Devlin is a solid signing.

Save the argument guys. Not so much meaning judge only on friendlies. We've 8 CMs vying for 2/3 places. 6 of them we've seen lots of, and many others know the Championship, so didn't think it was that hard a question. Just trying to gauge opinion on who should be maybe sold and if we are upgrading and who's likely to start.
1. Raskin (likely to be sold)
2. Aasgaard (Tho prob more attack mid)
3. Devlin
4. Dio
5. Chucky
6. Barron (Devlin will likely take his spot)
7. Neil (got concerns but honestly don't know enough about him)
8. Drago (only because he's a kid and know nothing about him, have high hopes he'll be up to 1 or 2).

Only saw the second half yesterday, and I don't think Neil is as bad as being made out. Yes, I would keep him well away from corners, but he took the ball in tight spaces and kept things ticking over. I like that in a MF. Not a huge sample, I know, but looked like he will prove to be a decent acquisition imo.
