When is the castore / umbrella deal finished?, just seen third kit shocker imo.

09 Jul 2026 22:31:20
I like 3rd kit tbh, deal is till 2030 I believe, a wee parting gift from five heid Bisgrove.

The club have final approval on the kits, so someone high up must be signing off. However, like everything, not everyone will like every kit.

At the time, the deal was decent compared to what we had in place before, especially during all the court cases.

No-one else was biting our hands off to replace them.

And, only since the takeover and the RB links etc, have people started questioning it imo.

I quite like it. ?

My favourite is the ladies home though. Looks much better without the sponsor on the front.

The home kit for this season is their best yet imo. I would love us to go back to Nike or Adidas. Some belters they made back in the day.

10 Jul 2026 07:28:29
I agree, Gazza, looks much smarter without the sponsor.

10 Jul 2026 07:56:51
The shirts always look so much better without sponsors. Especially a betting company.

Personally, I don't mind the Castore tops. Have been quite a few really nice ones.

Usually, some of the training tops have sponsors and look decent.

10 Jul 2026 08:49:19
Sorry, meant some of the training tops *don't have sponsors and look decent.

10 Jul 2026 08:52:35
Take the sponsor off it and make it available as a plain top for those that want it. Logo spoils it for me.

10 Jul 2026 09:14:36
I think the 3rd kit's a topper. It's hard to please everyone, especially a support that often tops out high fashion with Stone Island gear. It's a bit adventurous, but not a kick in the hole away from the 94-95 kit, which is universally loved.

Darth Maul top gets a solid 9/10 from me, sponsor, as always, drags it.

I think the ball has been dropped with the kits this season. Not impressed at all. C-.

Make our own shirt, Rangers being the brand. Do an OEM or ODM deal with Chinese or Indian manufacturer, be in control of the quality and retail of the products. Could even franchise the brand globally.

10 Jul 2026 09:30:20
Not a lover of betting adverts, but I don't think jerseys without the sponsor would be sanctioned. The company being advertised will pay RFC, therefore, if it's omitted, the logic would potentially be the jersey would be dearer as no sponsor subsidy as such.

10 Jul 2026 10:08:49
After seeing it today, it's worse than I thought. Shocking imo.

10 Jul 2026 10:31:08
Actually quite like it, so proves it's down to the person.

We did try doing our own tops and it was a disaster, sure, it was in the early 2000s, we tried.

10 Jul 2026 10:36:02
They won't ever do that fork as a company is paying money to have their name out there.
