Depends on our formation. Dan Neil I think is better in a 6, but does like to take his man on and burst forward sometimes with great passing range. Be interesting to see how DM sets up his line up and midfield.

I think it'll mainly be a 442, Davie. It looks like that in the training videos that have been posted. DM likes old fashioned wingers as well.

I read when he was first suggested that he is better in a box to box role. The articles I read said whilst he can play 6, he was 'average' as that and there were better. He will get more game time playing further forward as we have 3000 DMs on our books now or being linked with. ?

Angus, he was box to box, but he got far better playing as a six over a couple of years.

Beale big Dahl is absolutely an attack-minded 8, bro.
As Johns said, he played on the left of a 3 in mf and is very much all over the park.
I liken him to Yaya Toure in style.
Very skilful player, great passer, and scores some outstanding goals, mate.
Not a 6 for me. However, I know it has been said that online at times, so I know why u would think that, mate.

Never seen him, Stevie, just thought he was a number 6, Niel is best box to box, but have learned his 6 role over the last couple of seasons, was the 6 in the promoted team.
