I went to my pit so didn't watch the full game. I agree both McGinn & McT didn't perform well, but Clarke seems to have consistently played McGinn out of position and a formation that doesn't get the best out of McTominey in this tournament.
I'm not sure it was entirely sensible to have offered SC a 4 year contract prior to the WC, it just seems to have facilitated his play the percentages approach. I was not impressed by his lack of accountability.

The three "stars" of the team were hopeless again, McTominay, Robertson and especially McGinn, but there were a few who did alright. Gunn saved us from a worse hammering in the last two games. Ferguson has been the best player in all three games. McLean was decent last night and showed that he should be playing there before Christie, who was shocking in the games he played.
I haven't been a fan of any of these three, but credit where it's due. I also thought Patterson did well last night, and Tierney was miles better than Robertson when he came on and put in some great crosses. What can we say about McKenna? To think some people wanted us to sign him.
