Predictions for the Scotland game tonight?
06 Jun 2026 21:16:51
Got Shankland 7/4 anytime, Gazza.
He was 9/2 for 1st, few will have that.
06 Jun 2026 21:22:45
Shankland for the golden boot?. ?
Does he Shankland always look like he's carrying a bit extra weight than the typical footballer? Or is he just a big physique?
06 Jun 2026 21:31:56
Our very own Lawrence Shankland with a goal and an assist, superb. ? He's so intelligent and has vastly improved his overall game over the last 3 or 4 years. ? I know what you're meaning, Gazza, and although Shanks isn't blessed with pace, his movement and game intelligence of where to be is superb. ?
06 Jun 2026 21:40:26
Shanks must start next weekend, best st we have by a mile. Ok, it's a friendly against Bolivia, but he has been superb so far.
06 Jun 2026 21:50:24
Very good movement and touch for the assist.
Scotland are on to win the WC. ?

Doak's playing well, most are. Good first half.
06 Jun 2026 22:15:11
I've said it before, I'd take Doak at the Gers in a heartbeat. Cracking wee player, good old fasioned winger.
06 Jun 2026 23:15:52
If we had a spare 25 million maybe, Mass79.
Brilliant we player, he's the ultimate bum off seats type, we could only wish though.
06 Jun 2026 23:49:01
Bb4, yeah I know, yer right. No harm in a cheeky season loan though. ??♂️
07 Jun 2026 00:24:53
As good as the lad is, he is always prone to injury that usually results in him missing a chunk of games, and again, as good as he is, his end product is bad and we need a RW that gets numbers.
Agreed with the loan though, Mass, would be a good option.
07 Jun 2026 08:55:54
Don't know about you guys, but the prospect of Shankland, Chermiti and Naderi playing up front for us, *not always together, next season is a mouthwatering prospect.
Goals, goals, goals!
Plus, we still have plenty of transfer business to do on other positions within the squad.
Exciting times ahead.
07 Jun 2026 09:20:40
Gazza, what about McGinn? Looks like he's hit the crisps after the Europa win.
07 Jun 2026 10:23:42
What I'd say about Shankland, and also McGinn, is that they've never had blistering pace, so it's their game intelligence that gets them into position and their bulk that makes them hard to knock off the ball. Handy for their positions.
07 Jun 2026 10:51:27
McGinn is top level.
07 Jun 2026 11:21:06
Doak valued 15 million. Not a chance ge return to Scotland.
07 Jun 2026 12:17:36
Doak was excellent v Bolivia, and a loan would be the only option, plus a massive outlay on wages, but it's highly unlikely he would play in the SPFL, but fingers crossed Curtis is given the chance to be a regular starter under D Rohl.
07 Jun 2026 18:09:40
Doak a far superior player to Curtis at this stage.
