That's a good read, EHL.

Why do we have such a high staff cost and up to 11% higher than the standard?

Good to have you back EHL.

We need stability.

Excellent piece, Ehl.

Because we want instant success, we buy players we hope bring us that in fear of the backlash from the support. Bringing in the likes of Chermiti might work if we sell quickly for a decent profit, but it's always a gamble.

However, apart from two decent sales in the last few years, we have hardly made any money back in sales and always spend more bringing replacements in.

Then of course we always change managers who end up changing half of the team with associated payoff costs or selling on the cheap just to get rid of.

Changing managers every year is financial suicide.

Hearts have out sup a better challenge and may still win it in one season.
I agree we need stability, but we need the right man in charge to take us there and that's not Rohl.

Cooper, good question.

In my opinion, a combination of far too many 'legacy' players and staff that are paid more than the value they bring to the club, and costs of paying up contracts for staff and players who have left.
