I actually thought it was a good performance against Hibs but a bad result. We dominated possession and all other stats bar goals. Played some excellent fast link up play on edge of box but just didn't capitalise. Another poster talked about Danny shoring us up when he came and getting back in to things, then trying to adapt his style too early and things giving way without enough of his own players in there.

I vote give him more time, if by end of next season we are not competing for honours and playing good football, then fair enough. This constant change is proven not to work.

I wish people would get off this identity and style of play nonsense. Win, that's it, nobody cares about the rest. We always played rotten and won under Walter.

He's lost 4 in a row and completely goosed the title challenge. That the stat that matters. Stop making excuses for the guy.

Bizz, I agree, and thought all we needed was a bit of luck and confidence to finish some of those chances. We also need to not be so open when defending, as we always give up a few chances, and, by law of averages, we will lose goals.

Still, hope a decent no 6 will help with that.

Please, though, can we just give someone time, anyone, anytime. Not fussed really, but it is what they need

Angus, imagine if we could possibly sign Lewis Ferguson, Dan Neil and Elliot Watt as our new look midfielders for next season. ? That would be a big improvement in our engine room for me mate. ? ??

Totally agree, Angus, we can't just keep changing managers every couple of months, it's not sustainable, half of our budget is getting blown on managers' compensation.

No manager we can get will come in and win the league immediately unless we are extremely lucky.

It's not the manager who is on the field playing football.

We have all said for years we need a captain who will lead on the park and a good quality no 6. Has that changed? Why can't we then accept that, potentially, once we have that, and sort the defence, maybe we have a chance.

Forever, we hardly won, all the time playing rotten under Walter, but agreed his football was woeful on occasions, and it amazed me how we won a game. In fact, was he not called out for being "anti football" in a European game.

Many of a time, though, I remember saying to myself, how did we lose that game against the likes of Dundee or other teams that on paper we should easily have won.

Not for one minute am I saying anything against Walter, but it's not our god given right to win a game, and I think that's some of our players' mindset through the decades that they can just turn up and expect to win.
