Igamane was slaughtered for not wanting to come off the bench. I've no idea if Rohl should stay but how can we judge when our captain refuses to even be on the bench and walks out on the team.
This is bound to have affected the team. The one thing I am sure of is I can't wait to see the back of this season and the bunch of wasters and ego maniacs.

If the injection story is true, then why would he even think he was considered for a start. I've stuck up for Tav his whole time here, but this is a bitter ending caused purely by ego.

The same posters greeting about Rohl not giving Tav a run out in a meaningless game are the same posters going mental, we have now lost 4 in a row, and that Rohl didn't have the mentality to deal with this group of players.
Go figure?

Maybe he only took the injection to start in his last home game. Maybe if it was made clear he would be on the bench we wouldn't have taken the injection. Sometimes these can be really painful and it was a nothing game.
Maybe Rohl got his teams wrong again, maybe Sterling should have started the Celtic game and Tav the Hibs one.
Makes more sense to me, or was the big baby Sterling not fit to start two games in 6 days. We have people verbally abusing a guy with Tav's record at Rangers and supporting a guy who is paid to watch the game most weeks. No wonder club is in a mess.

If true, I find Tav's attitude very poor - at least he had the decency to not snub John Greig.

Starting the game or coming on as a sub and finishing the game, it shouldn't matter, especially for our captain and especially his last home game, so in my opinion it's Tav in the wrong (if the stories are true).
As for dr, I was all for giving him the chance to really put his stamp on his own team next season, as I've felt this season is not just on him but 4 "cup finals" with zero points and 1 "cup final" still to go.
I'm really not convinced by him anymore, and I understand we just can't keep changing managers every 6 months, but we seem to be at the crossroads again with this another hard and frustrating season with nothing to show for it, yet again with another rebuild on the horizon. Questions need to be asked about why this keeps happening with the mentality of these players, season after season. It's getting absolutely ridiculous now.

The rumours flying about last night indicated he had taken the huff and left the stadium, yet there he was at the end to do his farewell lap of honor. I think for this one, I'll sit on fence til the truth comes out.

Not sure if that directed at me, MPH, but I said yesterday, before I'd heard the fallout, he should be on the bench and should only come on last part of the game for a send off, especially after his shocker at the weekend.
I was disappointed by his behaviour before the result, and regardless of feelings on Rohl. And I was one who was in the Legend camp, so not anti Tav.

If you're needing an injection, you'd be pretty stupid to think you're a guaranteed start. He'd have got minutes and refused.

It wasn't Kaiser.
It's all those siding with a RB that has been past it for years, and taking this opportunity that Tav was let down to bash the manager in a "just because" scenario, considering we still had a game of football to win.

Mph all those 4 games weren't dead rubbers though they have became dead rubbers because of the team and manager. Tav doesn't decide if he plays or not either it's up to the manager. Nothing wrong coming on last 20 mins he spat the dummy out and I can't wait until he leaves

Cheers, MPH, read u wrong and totally agree.

I am not a fan of Tav but surely, ego or no ego, getting to pull the jersey on for one last time, no matter how long it was for, would be enough. I believe he thought he would have been on the bench.
14 May 2026 16:31:56
Ausbear, but he would have been on the bench, Rohl said he would have come on.
