Has Danny made mistakes? Absolutely. But let's not forget at the start of the season, everyone agreed the recruitment was a complete disaster. Even the owners admitted making getting it all wrong, and underestimating things. We also have absolutely no leaders in this team.
And no heart. And now folk Expect these same group of players to go to the best team in the league and beat them in their own ground. U don't become good players expected to win just because u wear the shirt. Can't wait to see the back of most of this team.

The reality is that from top to bottom we're not good enough.
The squad lacks any real diversity, and that needs to be addressed.
The squad doesn't have the depth or fitness to compete in Scotland, and that needs to be addressed.
We can't keep chopping and changing the Head Coach. We need a DoF who understands our league, takes control, and supports the Head Coach.

Kaiser, we've had guys on here saying we've the strongest squad in the country and talking about 10/15/20 million for several of them. We've blew it, plain and simple. These players and management team got us back to being favourites to win the league and now, when the pressure mounts, they're hopeless.
The manager has decided last night to bring Olsen in from the cold, play Sterling at left back when we've two natural left backs at the club.
Barron isn't getting a look in.
Antman hasn't been used.
All of this baffles me, it's scatter gun from Dr.

Or simply J-zer, he doesn't have a scooby about what's really needed. I have been patient for a while now, but the cracks in his tactical knowledge are getting wider with each game. It was gratifying that the wee souls had a nice wee break in Spain, before returning to be massively humbled in the first 2 of Dr's 5 Cup Finals.
To say I'm sickened by what I've seen happening is an understatement. Our owners looked totally non-plussed last night, so I would hope they will take some action to rectify the damage.

Very good points above, lads. Yes, Dr has made mistakes, but the vast majority of recruitment wasn't his. As EHL says, fitness seems a massive issue despite us not having a European run this season. Can only imagine the mess we would be in if we did. I do think Dr has done a good job with what he inherited; however, it now needs to go to the next level. We need a squad of fit, capable lads who have heart & the right attitude.
What really pissed me off last night was Manny laughing & joking with a Hearts boy after the whistle... No chance. Every one of those lads should have been angry, embarrassed & disappointed, not laughing & joking. I'd rather we lose with guys like Barron, Curtis & Cameron playing than these overpaid, overhyped, gutless lads.

Kaiser, those excuses ain't going to wash, mate, with me. Our star defender is meant to be worth 20 million +, star striker the same, Raskin 20+ also. Once we got back in a position to win it, and it was in our own hands, then the excuses at the start become irrelevant.
Just my opinion. I said it had shades of pc 1st season, and unfortunately it's turned out similar. I am still gutted, still numb. I am sick to the back teeth with these players.

Don't want to pour petrol on the fire, but it's only going to get more difficult next season.
Hearts will benefit further with Tony Bloom's investment structure behind them.
The camera panned to their latest potential signing in the stand last night.
The tic can only progress from what has been a sub-standard campaign for them.
Who knows, if Hearts do go on to win the title, this might encourage outside investors to get involved with other Scottish clubs.
The boys at the top of our club have some job on their hands, that's for sure.

Jzer and Storm, I've consistently disagreed that these players were worth anything like those, and that the majority would struggle to get in the Hearts side. How can u describe our recruitment as a disaster then call it the strongest squad? Fans just get carried away when they have a couple of good games.
Eg, Chermiti scored a cracker, and next he's almost world class. As u say, Storm, sick of the players. Poor teams can have good runs which we did to get back, but at the end of the day they aren't good enough.
