Rohl had 2 weeks to prepare for that game yesterday and again got it wrong as he had to make 3 subs at halftime. Motherwell should have been 4 nil up after 45 min and again outclassed us by playing free flowing football. There are a number of Motherwell players who are better than what we've got and although they lost what 5 of their last 6 games they had a manager who schooled Rohl in that first half. I keep saying that our midfield has been wrong all season, I got a bit of flack by saying Chukwuani IMO is a journeyman he's very little flair and I've yet to see him really influence a game.
Meghoma is a wee boy lost, Aasgaard and Fernandez are too slow and even the dogs on the street know that Gassama can only be an impact player from the bench. It has been reported that Olsen is a loner, very low confidence and has fallen out of love with the game in what planet did our recruitment team think he's what we need. Isn't it a terrible indictment that even with all the money we've spent that we have to rely on an 18 year old boy on loan to give us a spark. Really down after watching that yesterday we've 3 away games from 4 and I don't think we'll win any of them.

Even if you are right and I don't agree with all of it, if so many players are not good enough then that's not this manager's fault. Two of his signings were missing, and, to be honest, I'm not convinced that the Skov Olsen signing wasn't somebody else's call. For him not to be brought on, even when we were desperate, was quite telling.
Djiga, Meghoma, Aasgaard, Miovski and Gassama were just what we have come to expect, and even Sterling had a shocker. Praise only goes to big Chermiti, who was up for the fight all game and the first three subs. We had no threat from dead balls until the much maligned Tav came on.

In fairness to Sterling, he was exposed in that 1st half, no cover to support him whatsoever. That was either Assgaard, Chukwuani, or tactics to blame.

Wslgers, sure, a lot of the players are not DR's signings, but how many games recently have we started poorly? We were 2 nil down to Livingston, 2 nil down to Falkirk and 2 nil down to Motherwell. The manager has to take a degree of blame for these terrible starts.

I criticised the loss of goals recently and was accused of being negative as we were still winning.
Giving away goals was always going to come back and bite us on the ar$e.

Butland, Sterling, Djiga, Fernandes and Meghoma are all far too passive and want to play the game at their own tempo and on their own terms - they were probably more effective than Motherwell at disrupting our passing game.
Add to that, only 2 of our front 4 were effective in the press and Motherwell were gifted a lovely day in the afternoon sun.
Didn't see much of the second half, but the addition of Tav and Dio seemed to give us a bit of drive.

I saw a lot of comments giving it to Djiga in the neck when Manny was just as bad as him yesterday. Strange one gets it and the other gets off scot-free.

You sure did, Mph. We've lost 6 goals in the past 2 games, it's a huge worry. I don't believe for one second we will win our next 4.

It's all about standards, BoyBlue.
Accepting losing 2+ goals a game because we are winning is a recipe for disaster.
We actually got back into this title race by being difficult to beat.

Mph, we need to go back to being hard to beat. I still can't believe we played 2 CM only against Motherwell, who are well known for playing good football. Both were always going to the p ripped out of them, and that is on the manager, that one.
