If Shaktar do pip us, we have the following scenario:-
Win the league:-
We will play the winners from ties involving the winners of the Polish, Danish, Swiss, Israeli, Cypriot, Swedish, Croatian or Serbian leagues.
Finish second in the league:-
We enter the 2nd playoff round where we could face Bodo Glint, and teams who finish second in the Turkish, Greek, Austrian and Polish leagues.
Get through that and the winners of these ties are in the pot against 4th from French, 3rd from Dutch, 2nd from Portugese, 2nd from Belgium and 2nd from Czech league.
Get through this and the league winners from Norway ( Viking ), Greece and Austria await.
Clear as mud.

Spud, if indeed we do get pipped with the countries mentioned, I would say we have a chance against any of their teams. Worst thing about a draw is when you draw a team and think ohh no. Saying that though, when we drew Dortmund I thought oh no, but look what happened.

Finishing second still gets us into the CL, but a long way to go in that route.
