I read this morning that Oumar Camara is tipped for a 10m move in the summer, with a host of EPL and Portuguese clubs watching him.
This is the young lad who had agreed to sign for us for free in the summer from PSG, he'd even rented his flat and made plans to move with his family - until Martin cancelled the deal.

Think it was a bit of both, Paul. Mulligan chose Hibs because Martin never wanted him as much and chose Aarons. Camara could be a big missed opportunity.

That was one I was really excited about young very talented lad (had to be if you're still on PSG's books at that age) think he was capt of French under 19s or similar & for free. would have loved to have seen this lad at Ibrox but yet another Martin mess up was the 1st of many.

Pretty sure I read an interview with Mulligan where he said that he had made up his mind to join Hibs from the moment he spoke to them last January. Now, he may just have been trying to stay on the good side of their support, but if that's true, it had nothing to do with Martin.

There were 3 or 4 saying the same thing, Fork, you're right mate. Not sure how accurate, but definitely a few saying the same thing. Martin cancelled.

We opted for Gassama at £3m rather than this lad for free.

Stevie, different positions though, so I suspect we would have both. Still think Gassama will come good. Also would be a bit concerned that Mulligan didn't look great against us at a time we were so poor, so would he improve our MF.
In summer I thought he would be a good buy, but games vs us now I wouldn't be so sure. We will never know, I guess.
