Coops I seen you ask about who I wanted to win the epl and you are right I would rather anyone win the league than Arsenal. I like arteta as a player when with us but he done the homesick thing went back to Spain then in a very short time went to Everton.
I also can't stand him as a manager and I ain't a big fan of Arsenal fans either.
I don't like city either but they would be the lesser of two evils for me.
Hopefully Liverpool get rid of slot and get another manager in. who I have no idea and they can be back challenging next season. He won league with slot players and changed it this season and the tactics and it's went downhill fast.

Come on the Gunners! Been a can of Arsenal since Marc Overmars played there. Then Thierry Henry was my favourite player outside Rangers as a teenager, so I'm all for Arsenal winning the league! The whole about the fans is daft, man, it's all because they have been the banter club down there for so long, and now they are about to change that, and other teams' fans can't stand it.
And their gans are a bit OTT right now after years of being bantered, so why wouldn't they be OTT with it.

The fan think isn't daft in my opinion though, Dr, I have never liked Arsenal fans and that's not just a recent thing. I know we used to have some sort of alliance with them, and having shares in club (small amount) tell Whyte sold them.
Just never a club I have taken to.

Dr, my late dad God rest him followed Rangers everywhere for almost 50 years and his favourite English club was the Arsenal because of the friends he made while going down to Highbury when we had friendlies regularly with Arsenal, ie. one year at Ibrox and the following year at Highbury and so on.
? The friendlies had finished by the time I was born, but my dad had brilliant memories and made a lot of good friends with a good few Arsenal fans due to his trips down to Highbury and them up to Ibrox. ? I never followed suit because my favourite English club has always been Newcastle United. ?

As long as it ain't Spurs or West Ham winning it, I don't mind who wins.
I'd have to say Arsenal though as my family are from the Basque region and would like Arteta to win it for that reason.

I understand Liverpool are in contact with Alonso and/or his team and if certain criteria are met he will become their new manager.
