Noticed storm getting it from a few for not getting carried away like some with the result yesterday. I agree brilliant 3 points, but also totally agree with storm that Aberdeen team are horrendous, they could barely put 4 passes together.
Like storm when we do it against celtic/hearts/Motherwell I'll give huge credit, but I just can't against that Aberdeen team. I'll keep my powder dry for now, as good as a performance as it was.

Only difference from the Celtic game in the cup was goals, Boy Blue. If we keep the performances in the last seven games, we won't be far away, mate.
22 Mar 2026 13:31:42
Mystar, I hope so, mate. ?
22 Mar 2026 13:31:45
BB4, Saying it was 'hard' might be an exaggeration, but I felt it was fair to call out the 'glass half-empty' view when a good win, whoever the opposition, was immediately overlooked. I stand by that being our best 90-minute performance in a while.
We have actually had good results against Celtic, Motherwell, and Hearts this season, so ignoring those positives feels one-sided.
I just think it's hypocritical to only highlight poor performances all season, yet celebrate a title if we win it. It feels a bit like fair-weather support to ignore the good moments. ?

We need a clinical striker.
22 Mar 2026 13:35:35
I had meant to say in my post about big Fernandes. I've been watching him closely the last few weeks. He's already very good, but in 2/3 years time, if he keeps developing at this rate, he's going to be a top cb imo.
22 Mar 2026 13:40:10
I know we didn't, but we really should have beaten Celtic twice, simple as that. And, of course, it's mainly down to us that we didn't. ?
22 Mar 2026 13:44:06
Definitely, Boy blue. The improvement in him over a few months is something else, mate. Lads got everything for a modern centre back. Really getting impressed with Djiga as well. Sterling, Djiga, Fernandez, Rommens are a top back four for Rangers.
22 Mar 2026 13:49:54
Agreed, sws. The semi final was the most one sided game in this fixture for some time. Had a look at the Celtic bench today, ours was levels up yesterday.
Get in there, Sunderland, mate. Scored as posting this.
22 Mar 2026 14:10:58
I know My star, ? Newcastle just can't beat Sunderland, mate, ☹️ Not be long before we vote for our Rangers player of the year and Rangers young player of the year etc, and I think Mikey Moore could win both TBH. ??
22 Mar 2026 14:23:40
11 league games now, sws, Rangers won't be far from 11 league games with Celtic soon. ?
Barron poty before injury, think that could be Butland now, yes Moore ypoty, Celtic losing 2-0 in injury time.
Something told me they'd drop points in Dundee before the spit, hopefully Dundee do the same as United in the next league game for them, it's all in Rangers hands, mate.
22 Mar 2026 14:34:39
Fair weather, Angus? A season ticket holder for well over 30 years tells me that's not the case, mate. I did state it was a good performance, but I won't get carried away. The past 15 years has taught me not to.
22 Mar 2026 14:56:29
BB4, I mean on here and wasn't meaning you anyway. That is unless you only come on and comment when we lose, which I don't think is the case.
I am not getting carried away either, but slightly fed up of our dropped points being the end of the world, and our wins, decent or otherwise, just being discarded as if they don't matter because it is only Aberdeen (insert any club here other than Celtic or Hearts).
I just think that anyone can complain all season and then celebrate the win; that's hypocritical. I'll take the journey with the results, and I'll celebrate twice as hard for having stuck by them through the poor performances.
btw, your comment of as good a performance as it was is all I am talking about making. That surely isn't over the top after a 4-1 win.
22 Mar 2026 15:00:25
I would recommend riding the rollercoaster, BB. You can stand on the side watching others ride it, that's your choice, but it's more fun jumping on it. You're going to feel the ups and downs anyhow, embrace and enjoy it, buddy.
22 Mar 2026 15:26:09
Ah ok, Angus. I don't think anyone on here complains all season though, Angus, just fans calling it as they see it over the course of a season, mate.
Tommygun, as I said, mate, season ticket holder for over 30 years, so I'm always on board, just cautious that's all, rightly so.
22 Mar 2026 15:44:30
I believe you to be a very balanced fan and I am not being critical, BB, genuinely not.
I just think it's football, buddy, I know it feels life or death at times, but it's not really.
If you don't let yourself get carried away, I think you risk missing the fun of the ride, whatever the outcome.
But it's entirely your choice, follow we will.
22 Mar 2026 16:21:40
Didn't take it that way whatsoever, Tommy, knowing you as a poster, mate. Tommy, over past 5/6 seasons, I've been way too high with run-ins like this, only to be gutted at the end. tbh, I was finding it extremely difficult the last few years, so I'm just trying to be a bit more cautious.
It's just a personal choice, Tommy. Titles are hard to come by these days, so if we do it, I'll enjoy it as much as any other, maybe even more. Cheers, pal. ?
