I think he's a good player (stating the obvious), and I think he'll prove a good signing this season.
However, I don't know that we should pay another GBP 7-8m on top of it all to keep him.
I don't know that he's good enough to justify GBP 16m over a four-year spell.
Cerny, for me, is better. Just my opinion.

Cerny is nowhere near as talented as Skov. Put it on a sixpence for Chermiti header. Skov is still settling in, and is rusty. He will come good.

Stevie Cerny offered absolutely nothing at the start of his Rangers career.
Cerny is remembered over the course of an entire season, yet Skov Olsen doesn't even get a single whole month before getting written off.

I just watched a YouTube video of him, and he operated completely differently from when he plays for us. At the moment, I cannot justify the GBP 8m or so fee he commands. I thought he was going to be a Cerny replacement. I genuinely hope he becomes good very soon.

I personally think Cerny was more effective in games from what I've seen so far, but you are right, there were calls for Cerny to go early on too. It's just the way it is in Glasgow. You better get used to it, Aph. ? Fickle bunch.

I said simply, I think Cerny is better than Olsen.
I've not said a thing against Olsen there.
It's my opinion comparing them.
I think Olsen will have a good few months. What I've said is I don't know if that's enough to convince me to spend GBP 7-9m and 35k a week for 4 years on him.
I think that's a fair comment to make, no?
If we had only GBP 20m to spend in summer, would I spend GBP 9m on him?
I don't think I would.

If he was GBP 6m, I'd say a million percent jump at it.
GBP 9m is a lot for Scotland, guys.
I rate him, and I think he'll be a great signing come May. GBP 9m, though, I'm not sure.

Aphe, Cerny scored on his debut as a sub, I am sure, although I might be wrong, and also scored a double in Europe early in his career. He was better than fans gave him credit for, mate.
I rate Olsen, so don't get that mixed up with me. I'm saying, is he worth GBP 16m over his contract to us? That's all I've said, mate.

Had a wee read at his stats there and he had 6 goals in 4 games with 4 wins and 2 match winning goals in the Europa group for us.
Before December, he had an absolute blunder for us. I think he got injured or suspended, didn't he?
4 games, 4 wins, 6 goals.
That's not too shabby, Aphe, mate, c'mon.
2 against Steaua and 2 against Fenerbahce in the Round of 16.
If Olsen can do that, he'll do fine. Haha.
