I think most are in agreement that DR got it wrong on Wed, he could have picked a far stronger team.I have said that IMO we will not win the league playing Tav, Gassama, Chermiti, Meghoma and Aasgaard. So where does that leave us, Sterling should have done better for their goal on Wed but at least the boy likes a tackle and doesn't watch people running by him.Gassama should only be an impact player when the opposition is tiring, Chermiti shouldn't feature only as a last resort, Meghoma is too conservative and lightweight and Aasgaard is mostly an empty jersey and totally unsuited to Scottish football.I read somebody called Olsen a game changer if he's that good he has to start he doesn't have time, we don't have time.

I thought Motherwell played very well and deserved their draw. We need to play with their energy and commitment. A bump on the road, but 3 points from the Hearts game and we will all be feeling a lot better.

Bringing on so many subs at once killed it for us imo. Players were all over the place. Were looking comfortable until we went back 5. Although Motherwell controlled the game, thot it was comfortable enough until then. Gassama, Chermiti, Miovski, and Assgaard were miles off it.

Never really understand the constant criticism of Meghoma. Don't think he does an awful lot wrong week in, week out.

I'm well in the minority in terms of I didn't have any issues with the starting 11, but I do think tactically we were set up wrong, and not for the first time.

The use of our fullbacks was wrong and played into Motherwell's hands, which made us very easy to play against.

We're stuck in a weird hybrid place again, similar to how we were under PC, where we are trying to implement a system without having the players to play it.

I didn't like that many subs either, tried to consolidate when the midfield battle was more important. Dio probably had to come off for his legs and to not get sent off, but Danny Rohl would've learnt from that one.

Fair play to Motherwell, their football is class.

We need Barron back. A lot of people on here saying Chuk is a better player, but they are both different in my eyes.

Why is Sterling getting a free ride? He was pathetic at the goal, and in being so, cost us two points. There is little point in apportioning blame if you are going to leave out the players most at fault!

I thought Meghoma has been doing well, but he was awful on Wednesday night. He just looked overawed by the whole occasion.
The Sterling one at the goal is interesting. I was left wondering why he was on the big Motherwell sub striker and not Fernandez, and thought maybe there was confusion caused by both teams subs.

Maybe Tav had been marking the guy that Well subbed, and teams tend just to pass on markers from players to the one who subbed in for them. Surely, with Djiga and Souttar still on the pitch, Fernandez should have been free to go and mark the big guy? Not a tactical expert, so its just a thought.

Agreed, Bizz and Rostosto. Motherwell played some lovely stuff and were set up very well by their manager. He's done a great job with them so far.

DTB - 100% Sterling re losing header at back post, but usual ballwatching for 2nd ball by Souttar and Fernandez cost us too. A fit Sterling would be an asset to our team, but I honestly feel we will never get to that day, so he is not a player I would want to rely on moving forward - ideal for a stop gap but nothing more imo.

Set piece coach must do a lot more for our defensive frailties, as well as giving us the better options from attacking set pieces (which he has done so far!).
