Greetings to all you legends. Watched from the sidelines for years and decided tonight's the night. Come here for all the banter and much needed team rumours. Thanks to all the itk posters. Love to read your updates and I don't mind when it doesn't come to fruition things change fast in football so I get no one is 100% but thanks for sharing. Always been a welcome page and I look forward to posting regular when I can. Excited for this season run in and I'm confident it's our year with owners backing our fantastic DR and I'm pleased with January as a whole.
1 thing I'd like to say now though is I'd keep TAV another season and I've been a critic but to replace his talent when he's on it would cost a pretty penny. Definitely play him from. Inch and further up font where possible.
Thanks guys for having me. And I'm not itk In any way just enjoy the banter.

A warm welcome from the frozen north, friend.
Look forward to seeing you post more.

Welcome, mate.
I'd also be happy to keep him one more season in vastly reduced terms, as long as there's a new 1st choice signed.

First of all, welcome to the site, BD BSOIbrox. ?
I agree with you in regards to giving Tav a new one year deal to keep him beyond this season, as his experience around the place is still vital for me, not to mention the guy's an athlete, never injured, who could still contribute even with his game time starts restricted now from the bench.
? Said many times, i wish Dujon Sterling had Tav's fitness record. ? Tav is a machine, and of course, on reduced terms, it's an absolute no brainer to keep him another season for me. ???

Welcome to the madhouse, mate. I agree we should keep him, maybe even offer him a coaching role beside the set piece coach. 2 year player coach role, then onto full time coach. If he can coach his set piece technique to the younger kids at the club, it would enhance their skill set, and we keep the best set piece taker in the country.

Welcome, mate, agreed re Tav.

We have enough coaches, to be honest, no room for sentiment. He should only be kept if he is good enough. Let's not start creating roles for ex players (or those about to be ex).

It's a no brainer. In Italy, they value experience and have a history of signing guys well into their mid-late 30s. It works!

I agree, no sentiment. He would need to improve his consistency. With the new squad build underway, I think this will improve most of our guys, and then we move on the players that don't fit. I'm still nervy around our defence, but hopefully we dig deep to the end and pull off what was unthinkable months ago.
Summer, hopefully, and I'm sure we will strengthen our defence.
Thank you for your warm welcome.

Welcome BD BSOIbrox. Tav staying is a huge no from me, mate.

BB4, I see where your coming from. He's been great for us, but I think a year on reduced terms, he would be a great substitute or injury replacement, as he still has qualities that helps us massively. Always a gamble.
To be honest, I see him leaving, as he will get more money elsewhere, but I'll be thankful to him for what he has given over the years. As many has said, if he was 100% in all departments, he wouldn't be with us.

Talking about right backs, anyone noticed that former RB Zukowski is now playing as a striker in Bundesliga 2 and has 9 goals, lol. 7 in last 6 games. Itten in same league, 9 goals too.

BD, my worry with that would be if he was used as a back up and the no1 got injured for any length of time. He's good at getting forward and penalties, etc, but his legs were gone 2 seasons ago. We need someone that's good going both ways.
