Does anyone not think that maybe maswanhise knows something the rest of us don't? That perhaps his current gaffer is going somewhere else at the end of the season and maybe he would like to take him with him?

Would love us to sign him but if he stays at MWell it's great people talking about Scottish football positively. Can't see him or Askou being there long. Just hope Maswanhise doesn't end up at Celtic or going for pathetic price suggested for Blackburn. Then would be really disappointed.

I asked the same question last night mate, I'm live to get Tom or EHL's opinion as these are two guys who I believe played at a professional level. I'd love to know if they see something that the rest of us don't.

Kaiser I don't think he is going anywhere or if he is then he is going for a big fee. I know people don't like the BBC but an article on there about why he is so hot at the moment explained much better a few points I tried to make earlier yesterday. talks about why he isn't moving as well.
all we see is that he his scoring a lot of goals and our winger/striker isn't so surely that makes it sense to go for him. does he fit our style of play; can he beat a low block; can he live with that fan clamour and expectation that he will just reproduce his Motherwell form. doesn't mean he isn't a good player and would be worth a punt on at £2M or so but would that still be the case if that became £8m. a buy when he hasn't got form anywhere else.

If its crazy money like then obviously wouldn't go for it. Can't see them getting anything like £8. So yes would depend on the price. In fact apart from the guesses around Bowie value the only figure mentioned was the Blackburn one of 1.5m which is buttons for him.

Foolmonty, I have no idea - I was just proposing an alternative to the 'gross negligence' narrative that's filled countless threads on this player.
Just because the club haven't signed someone we want, doesn't mean we've not tried and are turning our nose up to players from our own league.
