SWS I have answered your questions on Rommens on the discussions page but i will answer again as I see you have asked again.
In my opinion Rommens has the potential to be far superior to Barasic.
I personally think he needs to work on his crossing as Barasic was fantastic in that regard.
My personal opinion is that Rommens is already superior in a defensive sense than Barasic.
I would also reiterate my belief that Rommens is superior in every way other than experience level to James Penrice.
I also believe Silas Anderson is superior to Tochi but again is difficult to compare as they are not remotely similar players. They would occupy different roles and responsibilities.

Barasic was a scare
He had a good season or two but his crossing left him, same as it has left tav.

IMO Barasic one of the most under rated Rangers players in a while, Rommens not at that level yet done a fair amount of Research on him and is far from the finished article but definitely has scope to reach that level! Think it's one the fans might have to allow some time.
He's likely to get bedded in this half of the season with Meghoma being the primary fullback.

Aphe, what kind of left back is he mate? Is he a solid defender similar to maybe Sterling or is does he like to get forward much like Tav? We need someone with athleticism to get up and down the pitch to help at both ends I believe. Cheers.

Aph, it's no shame, not being as good a crosser as Borna - for me he was/is the best left sided crosser I've ever seen. At Ibrox or Elsewhere.
Better than even Georgatos at Inter who was Greece's answer to Beckham.
