I don't know what to make of Thelwell's son joining as I know nothing about him or his experience so I won't moan, all I want is a capable manager who actually tries to win matches and doesn't give stupid excuses. Asa have you heard anything new about the manager position? I know John has heard he will be gone if he loses domestically.

Obviously nepotism wasn't mentioned about Ancellotti because Carlo wasn't working for us, so there wasn't any. That's just nonsense. It might well have been questioned at his other clubs when starting out tho. Apart from that Carlo has been a major success everywhere so his son could well have learned a lot from him while Thelwell has been an utter disaster. His son may well be good. I've no ides but your nepotism argument comparison doesn't work.

With no insider info, it's my opinion that RM will be in charge through Christmas no matter the results.
Weak boards in the past have bowed to the experts on the terraces and chickened out too many times ~ hopefully our current owners are made of sterner stuff and will have the backbone to give the team stability over a decent period.
Maybe it would be better for the manager and players if there was a boycott from the fans who don't like the situation but can't bring themselves to support?

It's a bit of an irrelevance Asa really but u were the one that had a go at folk for mentioning nepotism with the comparison with Ancellotti. How could Rangers hiring junior be viewed as nepotism when senior has never had anything to do with Rangers? pretty sure he did have questions when he started out but had nothing to do with getting the Gers job.

Sir Walter obe its the info he got, I asked on my last post in the rumours page, obviously just a rumour so it may happen it may not, I'm staying hopeful on John's info though.
