Better set up last night. Surprised to see Antman start but he made a great contribution. Jefte LB better than Aarons LB, Aarons RB better than Aarons LB (not sure if better than Tav tho) . Wingers playing wide and getting to the byline to cross and getting into the box from the other side other positives. Midfielders playing more in the middle giving wingers space. All so much simpler. Opposition weren't great so would have liked more goals or even attempts. Last half hour we spent too much time faffing about at the back. Djiga looks good - so long as he doesn't get too cocky. Rothwell a bit one paced and looks a bit unfit compared to others. Finally, RM - wear a shirt and tie. We are Rangers!

Can wear his wife's clothes for all I care as long as we are winning on the park, don't get the tradition part on the touchline, think he pulls off the tee shirt and suit thing, and let's be honest he's a bit of a poser, keep winning Russell and u can wear what u want.

Felt personally the big cb djiga done very well helping out in midfield due to be being over ran with numbers with the 5 across the middle they played. I felt the big man stepping in nullified this and he looked more than comfortable stepping into the game and the mf going forward. My man of the match. Big djigga.

Hard to be critical of the performance last night, however my one frustration was I still don't think we got Dessers or Danilo involved in the game enough - mainly caused by how slow we were, at times, to progress the ball from back to front.
We looked a different beast when we were more aggressive on the ball.

Sure he wears short and tie before and after game. Traditions went out like that years ago. When players all started wearing tracksuits to games amd training. Will only get highlighted if were not winning. If were winning games are trophies people won't care less what he's wearing.

I thought Rothwell controlled the game last night and everything came from him. Well done RM for changing his approach. Everyone played well especially Cameron, antman, gassama. My only small negative just my opinion is thought diomande slowed the game down to much and a few backwards passing when it should have went forward but he did play well.

Good post BearAbroad22. I agree with what you say about faffing about the back. Defenders nearly go caught out a few times. Against better teams we would have been punished. However, I liked the pace at which we attacked. 3-0 against any team in Europe must be a positive result. I thought Cameron looked very good. If we get through, Salzburg or Club Brugge will be a stiffer test. Great result though.

I knew people would mention this shirt and tie crap again what a load of bs.
Really don't care what a manager wears and imo which could be wrong must be coming from the older generation of our fanbase. Times change ?.

It is the way Martin wants to play and I don't see him changing it. better to get players used to playing it now before we play those better teams IMO. the more confident we get at doing it the less it will happen. the more players ahead of defence who are confident of taking ball into feet with an opponent on their back the less it will happen.

Yeh frustrating EHL. This team should have been carved open.
We had so many opps to go over the top but didn't.
