I wasn't even disheartened when he missed the other night, I wasn't expecting him to score, Morelos was the same. Dessers will score goals but in crucial games where we only create a few chances like his one on Wednesday he's not who you want playing. That said, let's not kid ourselves that Danilo is playing better or that he would have scored.

I would start Dessers because he is a better option than Danilo but that doesn't mean that Dessers is any good or that I would back Dessers in a 1 v 1. It just means that Dessers is better than Danilo and it proves that we desperately need a new number 9.

Fork there is no correlation between the higher percentage starting Dessers and the higher percentage thinking that he wouldn't score 1 v 1. I don't know you would think that starting him would automatically mean that he would be backed to score 1 v 1. Maybe you could explain?

Over the two games how many one on ones did Pana have and score. its not an easy as it might seem to us fans. especially from a long way out, keeper has some time to adjust, close down angles etc.

Geesa that is correct but fans always think it is easier than it is. the scoring percentages of most good strikers in any league sits at around 20-25% and Dessers is right int that range but fans still think he is poor.

Dessers win me over last year we have to at least play him with the new players to find out if it works before punting out door without even trying that's just madness
And that's coming from someone who didn't like dessers at all when he came in
On same thread though some in here saying about giving dowell another chance does thier same logic not apply to danillo.
