Honestly never thought for a second that they would be. As I said yesterday they would have been the sort of appointment made by the old board, panic appointments that would have seen us continue in a similar vein as we have been the last 3 seasons. Just looking at the way the 49ers organisation have behaved with Leeds and understanding their business model would of suggested that managers like Gerrard Martin, Dyche would never be in the running.

Although not my choice Gers78, regarding the 49ers model they look for in a manager i agree dyche, gerrard etc wouldn't be ones they'd look at but i think in certain aspects of his managerial style, russell martin would appeal to them in some traits he has, just my opinion, but like i said he wasn't my choice but i did think he was in the running at one point ?.
