Sean Goss is a done deal . loan till end of the season

mike4827

1.) 03 Jan 2018 18:06:12
see we are aiming high again loan deals second rate norwich city outcasts, the piss has definitely been take out of us, iwonder who will be next on the horizon

2.) 03 Jan 2018 18:14:44
jordan jones may happen too

3.) 03 Jan 2018 19:54:18
Linked with Kilmarnock hearts and Dundee players and players who can't get a game at championship clubs my god it's bad actually makes the Jamie Murphy look an outstanding signing when really that should be the minimum standard we go for.

4.) 03 Jan 2018 21:32:49
Naismith, murphy and martin would do nicely lads.

5.) 03 Jan 2018 21:51:24
Have you 'better' players in mind to sign deano? Maybe make a list, we could give it to supercoop, he could pass it on to his source?

6.) 03 Jan 2018 22:55:04
Naismith Murphy Marin mcaurther or even Adam you put 3 or 4 of that lot in a team with are better players like fod tav John Alves dorrens candidas moralos that already looks like a solid team. We need experience players who have played at a high level.

7.) 03 Jan 2018 23:32:37
Can we get/ afford them though?

8.) 04 Jan 2018 13:18:30
Not convinced with Naismith, he's very injury prone. Murphy, McArthur would be great. The boy from qpr is low risk, probably worth a punt.

9.) 04 Jan 2018 17:11:21
Trueblue who is the second rate Norwich outcast and how do you know Sean gross won’t be any good the good thing about it is it’s a loan would you rather we sign guys permanently and they don’t work out

01 Aug 2017 23:03:20
So are we saying that Walker is going to Motherwell now! How can they afford him and we can't?

mike4827

1.) 02 Aug 2017 04:38:04
Man City defender that going there

2.) 02 Aug 2017 17:30:14
We do not need more foreign players in this window.
It looks like we're going for Max Power because Mclean is a no go until next year, and Naismith is now 10/ 11 bookies favourite to be a Ted again by the end of the window. If we manage to prize Walker from Hearts to allow their new manager some spending money then the three I have mentioned will be much needed additions to those already showing their class in Dorrans and Jack.
British players are the way forward now that Alves, Cordoso, Pena, Morales and Candeias have been brought in.

3.) 02 Aug 2017 21:24:24
Walker and Naismith would be good,2 Scottish players who would be positive additions. Naismith would be determined to prove himself. Give the sheep no money and sign McClean pre contract in jan

Loyalist . looks like you were right about the Real Madrid freindly.

mike4827

1.) 08 Jul 2021 14:47:19
Well done loyalist good info👍
Was the guy who runs the bus that told you called Duggie Park by any chance? 😊
2 great clubs and a nice occasion for all.

2.) 08 Jul 2021 14:56:29
I was just checking on Google if we had played Real Madrid before and we have. They beat us 1-0 at Ibrox 1963 goal scored by some guy by the name of Puskus.
Was he no like a Ronaldo type legend back in the day?

{Ed001's Note - one of the greatest ever mate: Ferenc Puskas - you know he is good when George Best is in awe of him.}

3.) 08 Jul 2021 15:08:31
Have you never seen the programme? Think its quite famous seen it few times over the last few years. as we call ourselves THE Rangers on it.

4.) 08 Jul 2021 15:12:21
Brilliant article Ed001👏👏.

{Ed001's Note - cheers MPH, I love Puskas, some player he was.}

5.) 08 Jul 2021 15:23:13
Good article Ed cheers
You don't get many wee fat guys playing now because the scientists lap top says no.

{Ed001's Note - sadly a lot of things are vanishing from the game, such as defenders who can actually defend rather than midfielders playing at the back so they can pass out from the back.}

6.) 08 Jul 2021 15:31:30
Ed001 - I actually don't think I've ever seen any footage of him playing. Need to do a wee bit of research tonight. 👍.

{Ed001's Note - I hadn't before doing this article, rocket of a shot on him.}

7.) 08 Jul 2021 16:04:53
Ferenc Puskas was one of the all-time greats known as 'The Galloping Major' having been in the Hungarian army. He scored four goals for Real Madrid in the 1960 European Cup Final at Hampden Park against Eintracht Frankurt when Real Madrid won 7-3, with Di Stefano scoring three. I remember watching that on TV with my Dad when I was 9 years old! We'll never see his like again.

8.) 08 Jul 2021 16:26:36
Just watched a 30 min film on you tube about him and that game was on it Doiger and it mentioned that Rangers got to the semi final of that comp.
Unfortunately Eintracht pumped us 12-4 agg. There was also a clip of him coaching the Auzzies Ed01 and he certainly looked like he loved his food as he was realy fat but that would have been the time you write about in your article when he hits the crossbar 10 times.
He must have been some player. also Bobby Charlton was saying they were at a function celebrating Peles 1000th goal and Puskas said to Bobby that he had scored his 1000th goal 6 years earlier.

{Ed001's Note - incredible player mate.}

9.) 08 Jul 2021 16:46:13
Canario, Del Sol, Di Stefano, Puskas, Gento. How much would that forward line be worth now? And in the good old days when teams played 2-3-5!

10.) 08 Jul 2021 16:53:37
Three Cheers, Real Madrid beat us twice, 6-0 they beat us at home and Puskas scored three. and as you say 1-0 at Ibrox.
.

11.) 08 Jul 2021 17:07:10
Three Cheers, the Rangers team when we lost 6-0 in front of 90,000 fans was. Ritchie, McKinnon, Provan, Shearer, Greig, McLean, Baxter, Forrest, Wilson, Willoughby, and Henderson. Our average age was 22.5 years while Real Madrid average age was 29 years, De Stefano was 37 and Puskas was 36. However we learned a lot from that game and the rest is history.

12.) 08 Jul 2021 17:32:18
Cool cheers for the info Buz👍.

13.) 08 Jul 2021 19:18:23
My old man took my mum to that European football game her one and only football game.

14.) 09 Jul 2021 10:19:16
Puskas was better thn pelle who wasnt even the best brazilian if u do your research. Scoring over well over 600 goals in over 600 competitive matches. A goal to game ratio of 0.99 percent per game over a 20 odd year career, where he missed 2years of professional football due to conflict in his country. Everyone says pele scored well over 1000 but if looked into a lot of them were in friendlies against far below par opposition so really his friendly goals shouldn't even be mentioned in statistics. Just watched a short documentary on him and the galloping major certainly was footballs dominating player of his and possibly all time, real madrid took a chance when he was well overweight at age late late 30s and he was still their go to player for goalscoring. Wonder how many goals puskas got including friendlies? Plus if he never missed 2 seasons due to civil unrest in his country, puskas for me is the best player ever till maradona came along, although puskas was more the out n out finnisher better thn maradona at scoring only maradona had tht bit of magic in everything he done. It is very fitting to have a puskas award named after him. The man the myth the Legend tht is puskas, thanks for the info ed n guys loved to be educated on him had heard of him but was a great watch. Oldest ever real madrid goalscorer to this day. Di Stefano would carry the ball pass to puskas n 9times out of ten the guy would score, what a player even at his elder age. Nice little education of one of the greats to start the day, many thanks guys, God bless you all 👌💙💙💙💙💙.

15.) 09 Jul 2021 10:19:26
Outstanding player and you are right Ed the art of defending is vanishing from the game we will never see the likes of maldini or nesta barest etc… ever again I don’t think.

Just seen that Jack Wilshire been released by West Ham by mutual consent . did I see a while back that he was rumoured to be training at our training ground?!

mike4827

1.) 05 Oct 2020 20:02:27

What are people's thoughts on Mark Hughes for manager if what looks like happening will be him losing his job. Even if at end of the season.

mike4827

1.) 06 Jan 2018 18:19:56
Absolutely not mate, Hughes is a roaster who buys buys buys until he gets the sack. He's spent millions on strikers at stoke and decided this season Peter Crouch is still the best he has. 😂

2.) 06 Jan 2018 20:35:28
Do we just want any manager that becomes available now

3.) 07 Jan 2018 09:07:30
FFS give our current manager a chance!

05 Jun 2017 15:14:32
Any News on Pena!?

mike4827

1.) 05 Jun 2017 15:19:53
I believe the panel has been delayed until next week. Typical SFA take a lifetime to do anything.

2.) 05 Jun 2017 20:26:34
That must be because Lawwell and the two that he chooses to reject the Mexicans are still on holiday!

{Ed039's Note - its 3 former players who decide and no decision has been made)

23 Feb 2017 21:44:38
Ranieri for Rangers please. lol

mike4827

1.) 23 Feb 2017 22:08:42
Could we afford the pizza?!

2.) 23 Feb 2017 22:56:17
That's what puts me off football nowadays. Leicester fc should hang their head in shame for what that man done for they're club., There's no loyalty in football now but what they've done to this guy is disgusting. He done the impossible and he is sacked 8 months later it makes you want to throw up.

3.) 24 Feb 2017 11:45:19
near choked on my breakfast at this thread, no loyalty, Rangers had a bloke who won his league by 11 points with a bunch of rejects they beat champions of the premier in Scotland in the semi of the cup and he added another trophy to the trophy room, managed to get this lot into second place, where is he now, well i think you can blame King for that one, he simply disliked the bloke, i still think Warberton would have gotten second place this season, but not now, we will be lucky to finish third and its down to the chairman i'm afraid
