It’s not that strange, I remember gong to ibrox back in the early 90’s for a mini preseason ‘tournament’ with Newcastle Man United and sampdoria played over the Saturday and Sunday. We played Sampdoria one day then Man U the next I think if I remember right. Will give the chance for the full squad to get a game.

Were more than capable of playing 2 games in 2 days. we pretty much changed teams in either half v partick and there's still players to come into the sqaud like Alfie, sakala, other new guy from bournmouth, lundstrum. unsure if gers meant this but truth be told it's a bit of a masterstroke as Gerrard can look at every player.

If we hold our own although its a friendly its a good indicator how much we have develpoed over the last few seasons. If we get skelped u can't complain 2 of their players will be worth more thn our squad and our wage bill. What a match, to attract real madrid alone for the match shows how far we have come without the result being mentioned 👌💙.
