Don’t think we could afford any marque signing that would surpass Stevie G. I’m happy with the way we are conducting our business so far. Minimal risk signings with free transfers McGregor and Arfield and spending a bit of cash on younger players, getting them on long term contracts with a bit of potential to sell them on for profit.
Much rather this than signing older players who will command high wages and won’t have any re-sale value. Recent times have shown with the likes of Barton, Alves that it doesn’t work out

Gerrard has agreed a 3 year deal beginning 1st June. This has come from a reliable twitter source est consultancy. He will assess the squad from afar to outline a transfer strategy.
Don’t know about anyone else but this could be the start of something big.

Hard to believe but i'm a positive person and think there is truth in it. I think SG will be our manager and he would not sign unless good funds are available. I think King would go that extra mile to ensure the backing was there for Gerard since he has a soft spot for Liverpool and probably something on a personal level too (friend) .
I also think 25million would be more than enough to pull us out the whole we are now in. Remember Celtic took a gamble with Deila b4 pulling their finger oot and getting Rodgers, maybe its Kings turn to get the finger oot and try to compete now since the biscuit tin days obviously hasn't worked.
Maybe Rodgers will be away next year too just to make it a wee bit easier for us!
