John27, as a trusted contributor to this page can you answer the following please. It is reported that Celtic received £50M from the ECL. What do you expect us to be paid for

We played two sell out games to get to group stage

We were watched by 250000 fans. They were watched by 180000. I suggest we made more in gate receipts
Both clubs got exact same re qualification to group stage in terms of 17 million euros each
Where they got more money is the share of tv money and prize money per points.
They do what they do best, mislead, the 50 million includes gate receipts.
I would confident expect us to get 35 million, from uefa, gates, tv. This does not include sponsors payments and corporate.

John I don't care a jot for them but recognise the more cash they have the better chance of success and it needn't have happened hadvwe invested after 55 they were 25 points behind losing there better players but we got complacent and are now playing catchup but with nowhere near the resources they have.

John would I be right if I said we still have to show our figures from the champions league and player sales. So when all that is taken into account at the end of the season and things even themselves out with their loses it won’t be as big a gap as being made out the now.

Flb all depends how much we pay back directors again this year. Last year we paid them back 13 mill. With us doing we financially again this year wouldn't be surprised if paid abother 10 mill plus out paying the loans back.

Yateley you both miss th point, they r showing a six month account, they have to pay bills and wages for next six months.

Its easy mate, all you have too do is sell a dude like frimpong for 12 Million quid and then when your yearly accounts come out and they say that you made 8 million on player sales and that also included the cool 4 million for the Zukowski to red bull then lap it up.

Gregory Johnny Hubbard may have been the 1st Catholic to have signed for Rangers. Not sure who signed first but I am sure they were both Catholic and South African
