What poster was it again who posted yesterday that we were possibly bringing in a midfielder that was a level up from any we currently have but was dependant on the other club getting their target first 🤔To whoever posted this, is this still the case 🤔🇬🇧

If it was me, Yately, I would be offering him a year extension on higher wages with a 12m release clause for next summer. He'll be almost 27 then, the time for a big move has sadly passed.
Raskin is still one of our best players and keeping hold of him isn't the end of the world.
Not like he's our only asset either. Next summer will have plenty of players attract big money moves if we have a half decent season. Chermiti, Manny, Gassaama etc.

I remember when many of us said we'd never get near the figures quoted for Raskin and were constantly shot down.
He's nowhere near as good as many of our fanbase rates him. Decent player, but £10m - £15m tops if we'd sold him imo. Any more than that we had a mask on.

Yateley, it's not about 'getting rid' of Raskin, more so realising his value.
