These 3 names I've just been told we are looking at and only the psv guy I've heard of.
Anyone heard of the other two and whether we have any interest at all.
Could just be rubbish I heard in pub but thought I would ask

Oscar Mingueza is probably in the top 10 left backs in the world, so I'd imagine he won't be signing. He's actually absolutely brilliant.

Celta Vigo haven't spent more than a million in the last couple of years. I doubt they will jump straight to 6/7 million.

The Dutch guy I email a lot at DHLG says the PSV winger is very inconsistent. He watches a lot of football, said he's a moments player, and wouldn't have him at Den Bosch. Only 1 guy's opinion, but I thought I'd share it. Don't shoot the messenger! I've no clue about the boy.

Some of these names beginning to smack of desperation and a fairly scattergun approach.
I am usually an optimist and I realise the new players have to bed in, but I didn't see any progress watching last night's game. We seem very one paced and slow the play down unnecessarily, also the daft attempted flicks and tricks, not one of which came off.
Get the basics right first.
Fernandez, not for the first time, jogging back into the box when the opposition are attacking, just a complete lack of professionalism and pride.

Fernandes was over hyped last season imo. He was the best of a terrible bunch. He had some stand out games, and in many he was ok. We forget he's playing in a terrible domestic competition where Gogic looks good most weeks! He's got really good recovery pace, but gets caught out a lot and often can't be bothered using it.
Lacks real desire to defend, imo. He'd probably benefit from being rotated and playing alongside more experience to talk him through games. Definitely got the attributes but he's nowhere near close to a top end EPL or Bundesliga team. Let's get an experience defender in and give him some help to develop.

Cheers, guys, as I said, the only name I have heard of is the PSV guy. Didn't know anything about the other two or the fact one signed for Palace.
Anyways, after last night it's clear we need an experienced cb in the form of Davie Weir, an energetic attacking rb, a left winger who is direct, and we need to start Devlin, Raskin and Dragojevic in that midfield.
Instead of selling Raskin, I would rather sell Aasgaard and Diomande.
Why did we push through the visa of the new cb for him to sit on the bench, when we could have moved Sterling to rb and him in next to Manny.

I feel that Fernandez has let the hype get to him that press was saying teams like Arsenal and Dortmund were looking at him, I also feel he is missing having someone solid beside him as he played his best games last season beside Djiga.
I hope that the new cb gets a shot this weekend to see how he does as looks solid. But I definitely think we need more cover in for cb, lb and rb.
Rb, I would look at Lissah that was at Falkirk last season or Hampus Skoglund.
Lb, I would look at Ferry or Longelo if you want Premiership experise as I don't think we will get Penrise.
Cb, I would look at Jannik Vestergaard experianced and free or someone else with experiance and comman.

We have far too many players that might be good enough in 2/3 yrs. We need 4/5 in the 11 that are good enough Now.

I would bite your hand off for anything like the kind of money being touted for Fernandez and Chermiti. They have both had great moments, but mostly their careers at Ibrox have been littered with slack play, bad mistakes and easy misses. If somebody else wants them, let them go there, and do their growing up on somebody else's time.
In football terms, both have been failures in my opinion, although you could say, if they are sold, that financially they have been good buys. Both can be true, but I wonder what is most important to the club nowadays. I suspect that the fans and the owners would both answer this differently.
