Posted in here about a "blockbuster" signing.
This one still very much off the radar but my source has told me he's still very optimistic it's going to happen.
Haven't seen his name pop up in here before either. EPL experience and valued 8 figures.

Whyte, I doubt we can afford him as he will not be short of offers. But I would happily take John Stones, he's only 32. Would easily do a job up here for the 5/6 seasons.

Can we get a clue please, Bob? If you state the position, then, if it comes to fruition, you can be credited with it being spot on rumour.
Otherwise, saying we will sign a player who hasn't been mentioned in here before with the caveat of BPL experience isn't much more informative than no info at all.
Around 50% minimum of our signings under latest regime have not been mentioned till deal is completed.

It won't happen but I would take Stones, if he was fit. Definitely wouldn't want Sterling though, he hasn't kicked a ball in three years, left out in the cold at Chelsea, hopeless on loan for season at Arsenal and a poor loan at Feyenoord, he's shown nothing to say that he still has enthusiasm for the game. Not what we need.
