To my understanding that we don't have Dan Neil signed and he also won't be signing. But am also told this will be a extremely busy window but like a said 2 or 3 days ago don't expect anything soon. Looks like there will be players out before we get anyone in. 1 in our out situation

Great info, Ryan.

If it's one in one out, we will end up with a very small squad.
21 Jun 2026 19:20:42
Ryan, not saying your info is wrong, but that's the dumbest approach if that is what we're doing. We've lost 8 players or something already to loans ending, OOC, etc, and that's not including the players who were on loan last season and left.

1 out 1 in?? Well, seeing as we've already had about 8 out with all the loan players returning to their clubs, and both Tav and King away, kinda think there will be a few brought in, to say the least, before it then becomes more of a 1 out 1 in situation. Otherwise we're going to be pretty short on players next season. ?

Ayrshire, even with what you have said, mate, we still have a squad of around 22 first team players, that's not including the younger lads coming up fighting for first team. We're looking to keep the squad around the 28/30 mark like normal, my good man.
So 1 in 1 out would kinda make sense. But it's getting people out the door who are not particularly good or part of the first team's plans to get someone in who is.

If we're going for a squad of 28/30 and we have around 22. 1 out 1 in ain't mathing for me.
21 Jun 2026 20:43:43
Try reading it again, Ayrshire.

That squad were good enough for 3rd place last season. 1 in 1 out is the most ridiculous strategy I have ever heard.
21 Jun 2026 20:59:14
So you've said that's still around 22 players excluding the youth stepping up, and followed that up with "we're looking to keep the squad around 28/30 like normal", so are you suggesting 6-8 youth are making the step up to the first team? Because, outside Scally, Glasgow and Lawson, maybe Nsio at a push, I don't see how 1 out 1 in gets us up to that 28/30.
You might be right, mate, I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm criticising the idea of it and I've not heard of 6-8 youths that are ready for that step up.

Stormtrooper, it's the model we do every year, 1 in 1 out type strategy, and Ayrshire, am a little baffled myself with how it all works, but as you can see yourself from the last few games, a lot of the young ones were stepping up.
And it's like getting rid of duds who are meant to be first team but not making the cut and replacing them with first team players, I assume mate.

8 have left, so 8 in soon then.
22 Jun 2026 02:42:19
No, it's not. We don't do that every year.
