Haven't been on for a while. I wonder if John or EHL could help here. I had lunch today with an ex-player who is still heavily involved with the club and he told me we have had refusals from 5 of our 'first picks'.
Can you shed some light on this. He told me one or two other snippets that I won't share right now for various reasons.

I don't have a problem with this as it shows we are going after players in demand. As long as we have plenty of good quality targets to go after.

I'm sure the list has more than 5 names on the list. If they don't want to come for whatever reason, we move on.
Better signing players who are here by choice and understand what it means, rather those just chasing a big pay check.
