Believe there's genuine interest in Ferguson. Nothing will happen til after Scotland are knocked out the WC. A deal is possible but won't be anything imminent and Clarke has apparently shut down any players discussing deals now that they're in the camp.

Davie, yea Clarke has no say on a legal stance, but he can very much put in strict guidelines for players to follow. Which very much can be no transfer discussion until after the tournament.

Agents will do what agents do.
For example, Rice and Penrice's agent is on holiday until the window opens. Not much legal stuff will happen until then, I wouldn't think.

It sent about discussing in camp between themselves. It means they can hold discussions with agents and other teams whilst in the camp. Fgs, is it that difficult to understand, is it. He wants full focus on the team in the WC and I can understand that.

Not once did I suspect Lawrence Shankland only signed a 1 year extension with Hearts. That speaks volumes to me about his character and level of commitment. He was leading Hearts all the way to the finishing line come rain or shine.
Sometimes, you need to concentrate on the job in hand, and trust the rest will take care of itself. Stevie Clarke has every right to ask players to do likewise. It is in everyone's best interests after all.

Angus, they will do that too, of course. They are going to talk to each other about moves. I get it when they are training and playing in the dressing room, but, out with that, they are going to talk to each other, other clubs and agents. Scotland don't pay their wages all year, the clubs do.

To clarify, players won't be allowed to leave camp to meet club reps, undertake medicals, get photos taken, etc. Of course, they can discuss things and take calls, etc. I assumed that much would be blindingly obvious. Clarke and the SFA absolutely say what does and doesn't happen whilst the players are in the Scotland camp. If not, then we'll see lots of deals announced shortly.
