Reports Brugg are interested in Antman and victory talks advanced.

I'd give them him cheap with a 20% sell on say EUR2m and 20%.

22 May 2026 03:37:08
No chance, Stevie, we should ask what we paid for him.

22 May 2026 04:50:56
Get what we paid and a 20% sell on.

Why would you want to lose someone on the cheap?! Mental.

Antman was signed on the back of a fantastic season.
In his first game, he was taking players on, getting to the byline and crossing the ball, and set up Gassama for a game.
After that, he got taught how to play Martin ball, do not pass forward, backwards, sideways, only.
Then he got injured a few months later, comes on in a game, grabs a goal and sets 1 up.
Then he isn't seen for 3 months before Rohl starts him in the last 2 games for whatever reason.

I'm not saying keep him, but he's not a bad player, he's just had a horrendous season for a few reasons.

Skov was a different story, he immediately regretted joining us and never tried at all.
I'd put this down to worrying, in case he got an injury, so wouldn't take a player on.
He knows he's leaving the German club so why risk a move elsewhere.

I would keep Antman, as lots of players have a poor first season, especially when they have not had a full preseason with their new club. I think he could become a good wide player if he gets the confidence back that he seems to have lost since his injury.

Once again, another huge change in personnel out & in.
Have we learned anything from the last 3 or 4 attempts, other than buy High & sell Low.
Think we will be selling players for 1 or 2 mill Or letting them walk for nothing (apart from Raskin, who won't, imo, generate as much as we hope).

Let's just hope we get it right on the incomings???

Antman missed a few months because he was injured, Alex. He played games towards the end of the season because he was fit again, and the manager wanted to see what he could do. How can a manager know what a player brings to a team without giving them game time? Antman was tried on the right, on the left, and in different formations.

These players need opportunities to prove themselves.

Skov Olsen looked miles off it, but he still got a good number of games to prove himself. Chermiti looked terrible initially but then the form picked up and the goals started to come. Players need time, they need games, competitive minutes, etc.

Pointless keeping a player we all know isn't good enough. He's had one good season in a league that probably suits his style more than ours. We move on.

22 May 2026 10:29:30
Antman was fit for weeks before he started them games.
I get your point in playing him, see what he can do, but surely you take him off the bench a few times before throwing him into starting at Celtic.

I'd like to see Antman get a pre season and hopefully kick on with us.

Lads, it's simple really.

We could take EUR3m we paid, and likely be our whack, or we take a million less with a bigger sell on fee.

Brugge's history of selling players for mega doe would get us a far, far bigger amount than the £1m we lose on the fee.
