I saw a picture not long ago there of what's allegedly our new home jersey for next season ? Very retro, plain traditional and i really like it ? Very similar to our home shirt we wore in the 1984 league cup final, when super ally scored a hat-trick against Celtic ?The only difference i see is in the 1984 shirt the pinstripes were white and in this new home shirt, the pinstripes look a lighter blue ???

One of my fav tops and my first Old Firm game. Remember it like yesterday, but can't remember last week half the time.

I like the retro look much better than some of the tops going around.

Was that the hat trick, when he was just about to be let go & was due a 'chat' about his contract? ??

Sir Walter, that was a fan concept kit, outed by various Rangers pages as fake mate. I do think the next kit will go down a retro route though, Umbro is good at that.
And as far as I'd read, Red Bull was meant to be the main sponsor next year too but there's been so much BS said with regards to them that you don't know what to believe!

Irvine, who said Red Bull were to be front of shirt sponsor?
What have you heard in regards to Red Bull?
I am not having a go, I would just like to compare what you have heard and read to the information I have regarding Red Bull.

Irvine, at no time have I read on here that the front of shirt sponsor would be Red Bull.
A few posters have indicated they would like that, but I have not read anyone saying a deal was done.

Correct, John, I have spoken about Red Bull in a lot of detail over the past year.
At no point have I ever said this and I do not recall seeing anyone say this.

Sorry guys, just seen the replies. I had read about the Red Bull thing on a number of Rangers pages and different posts online over the course of the season. I can't mind exactly where, but I'm pretty sure I even read recently that Red Bull were supposed to come in either next season or the one after. I don't know how true this is. It could be lazy journalism with the whole 49ers, Leeds Utd, Red Bull business structure, but I'm almost certain that Cavanagh had mentioned it too.
I could be wrong and, from being new to the group, Aph and John, you guys seem a lot more in the know than most of us, so if yous haven't heard then maybe it is just wishful thinking from fans and lazy journalism.
Apologies if it's a load of nonsense!

And off the top of my head, I believe what I had read was that it was also to do with a buy out in terms of contracts to the shirt sponsors.
Is this ringing a bell to anyone? I don't drink, so couldn't have been me coming up with rubbish after a few Isle Of Juras. ?
