Chat Rommens also won't be back this season
09 Apr 2026 15:44:15
Yep, heard the same, Rommens and Naderi both out for the season. Massive blow.
09 Apr 2026 16:06:33
That would be a great shame, but I think we still have the resources and belief to get the job done.
09 Apr 2026 16:12:25
Terrible luck, if true, so we just wait for confirmation. ☹️
09 Apr 2026 16:47:32
Walter, not really terrible luck, both were purchased with injuries. There was no secret in that.
09 Apr 2026 17:59:24
I do recall that situation, John, so as you say, no great shock with this outcome - but, honestly, we can't claim major bad luck with injuries.
That mob across the city would jump on that.
Aliaster Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Jota? etc.
09 Apr 2026 18:02:32
Agree, John, why do we persist with signing injured players or players who have history of time out due to injury?
09 Apr 2026 19:24:10
Not what I heard. 2 weeks apparently coming from Rommens in hospitality.
09 Apr 2026 21:15:30
Does Rommens have history of injuries, John? Agree regarding Naderi tho, it's not bad luck if u ignore all the warnings.
10 Apr 2026 02:08:14
Was told Rommens will be back for Motherwell.
Naderi is out, nothing serious, but is going to keep him out for a month.
10 Apr 2026 08:21:16
Unless I have missed something, Rommens was out for a couple of weeks with an impact injury to his quad suffered during training.

That mob across the City won't have to jump on that. You already done that for them. ?
10 Apr 2026 10:11:27
Kaiser, we have been told he has only ever missed six games ever. I'll let u decide.
10 Apr 2026 10:42:15
Previous to joining Rangers, John was 8 games. Will be back 1st or 2nd game into the split. ? Good news.
10 Apr 2026 13:21:03
Pul, but he has missed more than six in his career.
10 Apr 2026 13:39:32
He's out for the next game, possibly 1st game of the split at most, according to Rohl.
10 Apr 2026 14:10:39
I didn't say 6 games. ?
11 Apr 2026 12:12:28
Rommens will not miss the rest of the season.
11 Apr 2026 14:31:20
Agree with John, the info was there.
Rommens, fair enough for me, but such a huge record fee for German third tier, with quite a few injuries on his record too, was always a massive risk.
Although I like Naderi, boy works socks off, I still think a more expierienced striker would have served us better.
Also think next few targets we go in for will see a price hike after paying that money on third tier player.
