Don't know if any truth but was at my mates the day who normally is always at the games, but after last week said he won't be taken his son along till things calmed down.
Point is, he is normally not bad with intel. He was telling me as we where watching the game that we are looking at German Goalkeepers ( as I said don't know if any truth ) but if we could find a klos again I would be happy.
Anyone else heard anything?

Is it big Hansa Rostock you are hearing about?
16 Mar 2026 09:15:41
FIFA guy Tjark Ernst should be the goalkeeper of choice.
16 Mar 2026 11:05:29
Not the first time you have posted his name, Aphellion.
You must rate him highly. ?
16 Mar 2026 11:13:11
I do, Copland. He is an outstanding young goalkeeper and a leader also.
16 Mar 2026 11:44:44
Hans Inzebox?
16 Mar 2026 12:17:29
Hope he's better than Aasgaard and Atman Aphe. ??
16 Mar 2026 12:39:16
Better than the German striker I hope.
16 Mar 2026 12:47:27
Nice one, Angus. ??
16 Mar 2026 13:32:34
Cheers, Kaiser. I feel a gap has appeared for cheesy jokes, with Fork taking a bit of a break, which I will attempt to fill. However, I feel it is impossible to fill in for a master craftsman, but I will do my best. ?

Dennis Siemon.plays at Stuttgart scouts have been keeping track.Hes very highly rated for his modern day goalkeeper style plying out from the back
16 Mar 2026 15:51:52
Partick, I would be delighted with this also. We looked at him last summer, but Stuttgart were un-interested at the time.
16 Mar 2026 16:28:22
Angus, just to clarify, you're filling Fork's gap?
Rostosto, I really rate Naderi (if it's him you're referring to).
His work rate is phenomenal, and he constantly harasses and presses. Definitely, his goal return needs to improve, but he sacrifices goals for the team's benefit.
You need players like that in your team.
The problem is that the rest of our strike force don't score enough.
16 Mar 2026 16:56:59
Problem is, though, Athole, the same could be said about all our forwards. If they're all sacrificing themselves for the good of the team and no one is scoring, it's not for the good of the team.
He should take the same criticism as the others for not getting in the box and scoring enough, or knowing when to come or go in connection with the others.
16 Mar 2026 17:10:56
Athole, there is always one who takes it to the lowest level. ? I said fill the gap left by Fork. ?
Kaiser, but we are scoring, so is that chasing and harrying by forwards creating the press and making space for others to take the (limited?) opportunities we create.
It isn't netball where only 1 or two players are allowed to score. So, isn't the important thing at the moment that we win?
16 Mar 2026 17:17:14
Naderi is a good player and once he's fully fit he'll come good.
Think he'll come good before the end of this season, actually.
The thing is this, lads, we've been badly off form lately, and we're only 1 pt behind Celtic and 3 behind Hearts, so Hearts are starting to go off form at the right time for us to now pick our form back up.
It could very well come down to the last Old Firm game, and if we can get that bit of luck we've been missing in those games, then the league would be ours.
16 Mar 2026 19:01:09
Angus, we were discussing the strike force not scoring enough. Of course, others should chip in, but surely it's the striker's main job to try and score goals. We are creating numerous chances in games, but they aren't getting into the positions to put them away enough.
16 Mar 2026 19:40:55
With regards to Naderi, when he came I was really excited because we finally had a striker that made runs across the near post. Lately, I've noticed, especially at set pieces, that he's been deployed as a back post target.
I don't think that's his strength, and I'm surprised Danny plays him there. It's as if Chermiti has been pulling rank, and it's not working! Just my opinion, of course!
16 Mar 2026 19:51:16
Kaiser, I agree that I would expect teams to aim mainly for their strikers to score. But we don't know what is being asked of them.
I would also agree that our strikers play deeper and aren't in the box most of the time to finish chances, so I had a look to see if there were potential reasons. A few of the coaching sites I found gave explanations for it. Here is one:
Teams often set up to create chances for non-strikers to score, to disrupt the opposition's defensive structure and exploit high-quality space that a traditional striker might not be able to reach.
By using a striker as a facilitator, teams can create numerical advantages in other areas of the pitch, making their attack more unpredictable and harder to mark.
Not saying it is the case, but as we don't know what is being asked of them, we can't really know. It seems odd to me that Naderi, in particular, was getting into position to score in Germany but isn't doing it for us. So is it tactical.
16 Mar 2026 20:44:19
Kaiser, I take your point, bud.
Sometimes that 2nd striker is seen as a 'foil' though for a main striker (think Hately & McCoist).
A Hately type might look to score 12-15 goals a season and create flick-ons and space for your 20-25 goals a season.
You are right, though, Naderi needs to be scoring more.
16 Mar 2026 22:15:01
Perhaps, Athole, it's just about establishing which one is which at the moment, because both seem to be playing the foil role, with neither taking the lead. Hope they can work it out.
17 Mar 2026 08:10:17
Angus, I agree with what you're saying tactically, though I think that's more with when playing the one up front to bring others in. When it's 2 one of them needs to stay in.
17 Mar 2026 11:08:15
Angus, we aren't scoring enough, though if we were, we wouldn't have 3 wins in 8 games. ?
Strikers' main thing is scoring. Kaiser is 100% correct when he says we aren't scoring enough.
