Yes Duntocher unfortunately I agree with you that he will play. He definitely needs dropped for big Godfrey. He wasn't just awful on Wednesday, he looked lost unable to cope with the pressure and lacking in any self confidence.

Yes I think he will start on Saturday after DM comments yesterday, The problem with Fernandez is when he is good he is really good but when he has an off day he looks like a league one player or sometimes even worse. The problem I have noticed is that when he is playing poor it seems to make the other players round about him look nervous, they just don't seem to know what he is going to do.
For example against Hearts he let's the ball bounce instead of just clearing it, the Hearts player steels it and Raskin has to take a booking to sort out his mistake.
As I said on his day he is an accomplished CH but when he is not at he can be scare.
Anyway let's get behind him and the whole team at hampden on Sunday

I would much rather have a steady CH who gives you a constant 7/8 out of 10.
Than Fernandez who can be a 10 out of 10 but the next match be absolutely woeful and give you the fear every time he is on the ball.
Nobody is paying big money for an inconsistent CH.
And a lot on here are forgetting he is 25. Not a 18, 19 or 20 year old breaking into the first team.

He needs some Fergie hairdryer treatment and if that fails them some time on the bench alongside Gassama IMHO - two guys who on a now fairly regular basis are failing to bring the goods to the table and this will cost us if we are not careful!🤔.

I'd agree with you MPH. No point with someone who gives you half a dozen good games when he's regularly costing goals and points in all the rest.

I agree Fernandez did have a shocker and his mistake got Raskin booked but then again a mistake by somebody wide right, left Fernandez exposed when he got booked. Thats football, its a team game. Fernandez is taking all the stick for Wednesday night despite the fact he didn't cost any of the two goals ( in fact he blocked the initial shot at the second one) and nobody apart from Makhanya played well .
Sterling , Minsu and Gassama were all terrible and in fact Minsu gave away the second goal in the same way that Neil did at Dundee and isn't taking half the amount of stick for that . Maybe Fernandez should be dropped but he's not the only one after Wednesday.

Im not for dropping Manny just after Wednesday, because as u say it could be anyone. I'd be dropping him because he's causing problems and panic just about every game he plays. He's a serious weak link in our team.
