A point rescued is the most positive I can be about last night. The type of game we would have dropped points in previous seasons but McInnes has instilled a fighting mentality right until the end.
It was still a missed opportunity with Celtic dropping points at home.
But, when you have most players off their game, then it was always going to be difficult.
Fernandez, Sterling, Neil, Gassama & Min Su were woeful.
The rest were average at best.
Tactically? Haven't a clue.
We went long, which is fine if one of your 2 strikers are winning the ball and the other is latching on.
But we hardly won a second ball which then created the issue of Hearts being able to attack at will.
And young Curtis did more in a 6 minute cameo than Min Su, & Gassama combined.
Onwards and upwards to the semi-final. 🔴⚪🔵.

I also thought that about Curtis MPH, but according to some he was playing against tired players and nothing to do with his ability, go figure, so subs aren't allowed to be used to capitalise on tired player anymore, go figure.

Curtis did more in ten minutes than minsu, so many on here think we have a right to win last night predicting scores like 3-0 or 4-0
I did point out they have not lost in the league at home in 18 months.
A point at Tynecastle is not a disaster, imo we needed an extra midfielder and not start either Gassama or minsu.
Can't believe no one commenting on minsu selling a goal, far too weak in that type of game, but he should learn
Now on to a must win game which will be a real battle.

Exactly, Fork.
We greet about a lack of Scottish or homegrown players in the team but give more leeway in terms of performance etc to others.

Hearts had four forwards and two cm's, big difference was Hearts forwards were dropping deeper when required.

My problem with Minsu selling the goal is why he's in possession of the ball in a 6 position at all with only centre backs behind him.
