Learn far more playing the game imo
1-2-1s have their place to develop certain aspects of a specific role
Drago for me knows how to play as a midfielder or at least he should do but to play as a Rangers midfielder in the spl then game time is what the boy needs.
Football is fluid the game is constantly changing around you, nothing beats learning on the job.

Lot of hard work to be done and a lot of patience required. Which is never a good sign at Rangers.

What is it he's being taught to do that he can't already do well enough to play as a mf player?
It's a bit of a strange one for me to get my head round.

Me too, he's already been the captain of a team and he doesn't understand what's expected of him tactically? also if we want him to try to learn and develop then why for instance was he not brought on as soon as it went to 3-0 on saturday, game was over so surely give him 25 minutes there to see how he goes without any jeopardy in terms of the result.

Jack it's a very strange one indeed.
Can't wait to see who's had what minutes in the 3 games in 7 days come full time on Saturday.

We need to forget about the captain thing it's common knowledge they do that with their young academy products to make them look/seem more valuable. They have experienced heads in squad with lesser financial value that actually do the gig. They are a team that stays afloat by creating good young talent and selling them on, creating the illusion they've been leaders at a young age aids that.
I however have been disappointed he hasn't had any minutes really since the euro shambles. I think there is a player there.
