Just seen an article stating Rangers chairman Andrew Cavanagh maybe selling his healthcare business 'ParetoHealth' for around $6billion and what this might mean for Rangers 🤔.

Wishful thinking there SWS, the guy did not build that kind of wealth/business by throwing it down the drain that is Scottish football.
Any help, will be welcome with open arms, but I wouldn't put money on it.

I really don't know why we haven't took a sponsorship onboard for the stadium yet and same with training ground.

We could make a lot of money for that.

Stevie, it's pretty simple, we aren't in the Champions League.

Apparently Etihad Airlines pay about £80m a season for naming rights on stadium and training.

As EHL says Stevie, the market isn't there , no point advertising coca cola or red bull on Sportscene , it's millions we want to raise not thousands , until we attract a worldwide audience again we can only hope.

Good one Huey 🤣.

On sponsorship regarding Rangers in any sort whether it be stadium naming rights, a particular stand naming rights, our Rangers training academy naming rights, front shirt sponsors in the future, i stand to be corrected but imo it's almost certain that red bull will have their name emblazoned as our sponsor in one of the above i've stated in the near future 🤔🇬🇧.

That's is a fair point guys, Perhaps n the summer if we make champions league or Europa groups we could have some offers then.

What are the chances that Andrew Cavanagh after selling his business for 6 billion dollars could make our stadium hold 70,000, thus increasing turnover allowing for bigger wages, which increases the standard of player that we purchase.
Keep the main stand and then rebuild 3 new sides that is up with the best in Europe.

06 Oct 2026 09:05:50
No chance we will build a 70,000 seater, apart from Celtic or European games we won't fill it. a run of a couple of bad results and we can't fill our current capacity.

Plus that sort of increase would cause at least one stand out of operation for the season, so 3 seasons in a row with one stand missing. The amount of loss of revenue would take years to replace.

Alternative, move out of Ibrox and play out of Hampden for a year, who would want that?

Point is selling season books, not filling seats , them across the road aren't full every game, the money is in the bank for years to come, nothing much to do with filling seats, no club fills out every game, what with work, holidays and just not wanting to be at certain games it means little, but the seats been sold, that's the point.

I agree with Tom well sell 70, 000 season books or say 63 of the 70 thousand with last 10 % for public sale and away fans.
