How many Championship clubs are we allowed to have cooperation agreements with? I thought it was one
I know definitely Queen's Park, but I see Ardrie and gentles discussing his coop agreement.

I think we have two formal coop agreements in place - Queen's Park and Alloa.
As far as I'm aware Gentles to Airdrie is a traditional loan.

Gentles as u will be aware played for us a couple off times in Kdm trophy
Both he and Airdrie say the love benefit of coop deals.

Awesome John, i'm afriad it that doesn't change my response though - as far as I am aware Josh's move to Airdrie is a straight loan.
If I see him, or if I'm out at Airdrie I'll be sure to ask.

We have boys at various clubs , Wyllie is at Forfar for example and they are allowed to come back and play for the 19s in certain tournaments.

I think there is a bit of confusion with the Coop agreements and I could be wrong, but I think we only have 2 in place at the moment.
With the coop agreement we have the freedom to rotate any qualifying player in and out of the three player register - so we could effectively see 4 or 5 players play for Queen's Park this season.
The only complication comes towards the end of the season where the rules for who can play for a coop club are tightened and only players who have played a certain number of games and minutes can qualify - this is to prevent Parent clubs parachuting in top talent to influence the title or relegation run in.
Since the introduction of the coops, the SFA have relaxed their rules around loans, so qualifying players on loan can still represent their parent club in certain tournaments.
Hope that makes sense, but it is a little confusing as its still in it's infancy.

This allows them to temporarily step back down and play for their parent club's B team/academy squads in specific youth or cup fixtures—like the KDM Evolution Trophy—to ensure they maintain match sharpness when not starting for their loan club.

Its unique rules explicitly permit loaned youth players to return and play for their parent club's Academy side specifically for those tournament fixtures to maximise their minutes.
