None of us really know the character of players, the type of man they are, the strength of personality. Saying that and on reading Barry Fergusons comment on Dan Neil it looks like Dan has all the attributes to be a Rangers Captain and Leader for years.
Along with most fans I was surprised he was made vice captain as he didn't strike me as an obvious candidate but the guy has obviously something about him.

Never seen it either until Celtic game at Ibrox, he was always being vocal and pointing at players and spaces etc. to keep players tuned into their jobs, think the armband improves him which you don't see often.

Already said Dan Neil hadn't many top class abilities, BT, you are seeing it now, also said great leadership skills, you're also seeing that, a manager dream, does his job on the park with organising others.

The team are playing great and its not even October yet. For the first time in a long time I am confident that we have the minerals to be serious title contenders.

Watching a player over 200 games will give you a great understanding of a players ability. Obviously the other predictions were never watched over a prolonged period of time, which is understandable as there was a lot. Its a massive difference when a someone like Barry says he's a player instead of one or two who say everyone is a player.
