Yes but it's kinda irrelevant as he needs a full competitive cap before 21 or he can still change, that's why I felt fletcher would get few minutes in World Cup.

Wsl, I said academy graduates, i. e. those who completed their development with the club.
McLean for example, although he spent a couple of years in our youth set up, I would classify as a graduate from the St Mirren academy.

Don't think we have a problem at youth level at all. It's the step in between that loses them. It's why Ure had to leave and even going back to McPake a few years before.

If we could somehow acquire a club that can play in the lower leagues in Scotland without being allowed promotion to the top tier similar to what happens in Spain and I'm sure Holland and Portugal might be same too, that would solve that problem for us and would also help our national team in the bigger picture.

I think our academy has had the best output in Scotland for some time. However it still isn't performing at a decent level compared to top academies in Europe. I don't put that down to Rangers but Scotland as a whole.
You only have to look at our starting 11 over past few years to see that. Yes we are producing players at a decent level but not many good enough for our own team.
