I think folks are justifialbe to be pissed off at not winning, they some serious hard earned money, time and effort to support the club all over Scotland and up to a few weeks ago all over Europe. I and many more pay for my gers and RTV, Prem sport, sky, BT sport to watch my team.

Weve had many years since we recovered prob the last 5 where we should be competing with Celtic and should have won much more if not for the mismanagment of our club. There is no excuse now, none.

Yes none are happy, TJBB, but once you enter Ibrox, support that team and individual players, instead of booing a bad touch or pass.

12 Sep 2026 12:46:14
Sorry, not booing, but groans, It rings out and the last thing that does if help that team your supporting.

TJ - I get all that mate, I really do, but, the current manager and even owners can't carry the flak for 5-10 years of failure.

They need a fresh start. They deserve a clean slate from us.

Yes the owners nade a mistake trusting Thelwell with appointing Martin but last 5-10 years isn't on them.

Think how it must feel being an Aberdeen, hibs, Hearts fan etc. at least we start the season with high expectations.

12 Sep 2026 14:04:34
Not even booing mystar, swearing at one of our own to get to F### of the park, disgusting behaviour. Yes we've all spent a lot of money but when you enter Ibrox get behind the boys, don't abuse them. No matter if you've spent millions, it doesn't give you the right to do that, call themselves supporters as well.

Easy to imagine what these fans think
Aberdeen - Sheep or similar animal if sheep not available
Hibs - Spoons, rubber hose, etc etc
Hearts - Rangers.

Or Falkirk TJBB, great set of fans, Falkirk was hopeless for years, but you still had bus loads supporters travelling anywhere on a cold winter night.
I see a massive difference between Rangers supporters and Sunderland supporters weekly.

12 Sep 2026 14:45:51
It's most likely because they supporters aren't looking to win leagues, but Rangers supporters need to understand a successful squad takes far longer putting together than they expect, instant success very rarely happens, and you also need a good bit of luck for that, progress being made is all am asking for going forward, I really believe McInnes will bring success, mans got a step up in quality with players worked with now, which should mean he has greater success than he's had at all previous clubs.

Folks i never really metioned booing, I just said we are entitled to be pissed off, I've stoped buying games on RTV for £11 each that's my level of disappointment. i'm aslo going to cancel all my sports channels, its a lot of money these days and for what, to be 3rd and although we won arguably Motherwell and St Mirren played better football.

Paying for a season ticket, Rangers TV, Sky or any other subscription doesn't buy you the right to abuse players or the club. It buys you the right to watch, to have expectations and to express your opinion. Frustration is a privilege of being a fan; abuse isn't.

We all spend money because we care about the club, and we're all entitled to be disappointed when things aren't good enough. But the amount you spend doesn't give your opinion more weight, nor does it give you some additional right to abuse the people representing the club.

You're a supporter, not an owner. And ultimately, if you genuinely want the best for the club, there has to be a line between holding people accountable and simply taking your frustration out on them.

Its not a new thing but probably more frequent these days. I remember Ally Dawson, getting it big time and that wasn't yesterday. Some of the stuff you hear is totally cringe worthy. In some ways i'm desperately sorry I can't go to Ibrox anymore but in other ways I think its not a bad thing.
