Just for those curious and discussing it the other day. Just noticed Driouch made his debut on Thursday. So they were spot on saying 2-3weeks out. Nothing like we said. Not that it really matters now. Just hope he doesn't turn out to be a star and we regret it.

PSV might have been right about their medical prognosis, but we needed him for Europe and to hit the ground running. It was madness to sign an injured player. We signed Kim instead, who looks like he'll be a cracking player.

Said a week or very soon. Player said couple of weeks. Was back training within days. Throw in moving to a new club, so unlikely to have played earlier, and I'd say it was pretty much bang on what they expected.
As I say, it was more out of curiosity than anything, and was mentioned during the week. Very happy with Kim instead and looking forward to see the other new lad can do.

This isn't aimed just at this thread, but it really amazes me how we seem to almost pine for players we've missed out on or been linked to, whilst frothing at the mouth waiting to hate on the players we have signed.
It used to be Once a Ger, Always a Ger, but it feels like it's becoming Once a Target, always a Ger or Once a Ger, Never Good Enough.

Seems to me we didn't sign any of the "name" players that we talked about all summer, Ferguson, Dahl, Cerny and Driouech, which makes me wonder if there was anything in the rumours, except the last one, obviously. Can't even say it was about money because we splashed big money on Minsu and Kelsy. Club targets and fan targets not the same, maybe.
